Great little spot, excellent staff. Gorgeous beach. Quiet area on the outskirts of town, but easy walk on the beach to get to town and lots of restaurants etc.

I loved staying in this place. Very relaxing in front of the beach you can hear the ocean from your bungalow. And you are only few mins away from the centre. I didn't want to leave that beautiful place. Definitely recommend.

Lovely grounds, beautiful art murals on some of the accommodations, able to enjoy cold drinks in the hammocks on the beach, nice and quiet at night, short walk to main town area, a/c worked well, small pool was clean and refreshing, would choose again

It's not a complaint we just really wish that a place like this had a water refill station. The amount of single use plastic in Montañita is nuts and I'd wish the great property's like this would lead the way!

Absolutely loved the quiet, chill vibes at this place. Comfortable beds, lovely rooms with porches from which you can sit and listen to waves at all times of the day. It's not a modern or fancy place but we've stayed here twice now and the location is amazing, the cats cuddly and the property, the best place for a relaxing day. In the weekends the beach out front is packed with tourists, but during the week you have the entire stretch all to yourself.

Around the building the street light fixtures need to be fixed, because it’s kinda risky to walk alone.

There was a problem with our electricity not working, but the staff fixed it quickly. The pool was closed/unavailable during our stay, but of course the beach and ocean are always available.

The electricity for the place was cutting in and out consistently. I changed rooms to find similar problems. Many outlets didn't work. The internet is ok depending on your room location.

The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very good and fulfilling.

The air conditioner did not work properly. Mattrasses and line sheets are too old to provide a good rest. The place is beautiful, but they need to make some small investments to provide a comfortable stay. It is not the most expensive place, but it is not the cheapest either. I was attracted to staying in this place to be in contact with the beach and what montañita was like 15 years ago and it surely gives you that. However, at that price (compared to what you can get around), some new sheets do not cost that much. I did not complain because I am easy to adapt. But it is what it is. There are some cats and dogs which I am not sure are officially from the hotel, but in both cases, It would be nice if they feed them properly and take better care of the skin and wellbeing of the animals.

The location is good for a quiet rest in Montañita, you can easily walk to the city. The staff is kind and the place is beautiful. They have a bar at the beach and it is open until 21:00

Errors with booking.com, original room not available, but were accommodated. Wifi tricky in the room but good at the restobar.

On the beach. Away from the noise of town, but just a few minutes to the restaurants, pastry shops and ice cream. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Safe swimming. Awesome sunsets.
