Paulina in the restaurant was so sweet. She was always making sure everyone had what they needed, smiling, greeting customers and giving hugs and attention.

The only little thing is that our room was a bit cold and our fire would burn out within 10 mins of it being lit. But the heated chickens were so fun and warm and made everything okay :)

Beautiful lakeside hotel. We had a room with wide views of the lake. A fireplace was lit in the evening since the rooms don’t have heat. That was enough. All personnel were super friendly and helpful with our dietary restrictions.

The food/cocktail costs are a little expensive for the location. For three people, it cost more for food than the rooms. The activities are expensive as well for a short time of usage.

The location and views are incredible! The restaurant is beautiful and the staff works very hard to make sure you have an excellent experience.

Only complaint was the wifi didnt work properly in our room and I had to work the night we stayed there. I had to move to the restaurant which closed at 9pm then I tried to work sitting on the stairs of my front porch to catch a spotty signal. Other than that, it was phenomenal.

I LOVED this hotel - it was so cozy and adorable! The view was incredible and the service was top notch! The food was another level and the grounds were spectacular! I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Otavalo area.

Wonderful resort feel, we stayed in Cabana 24 right in front of the lake incredible views of mountains and lake. Restaurant was a little pricey but wonderful food and again beautiful views right on the lake. We had a fireplace all though the wood was damp so had trouble keeping it going, there is no heat so it was a little chilly in the evening but they give you hot water bottles with these cute cartoonish chicken covers they were silly but so useful. We had a large sofa, coffee in the room, a Jacuzzi tub and nice functional shower. Our front porch was wonderful has a swing and a table and chairs very comfortable place to be. The property has everything mini golf, water sports, bunnies goldfish ponds, chickens, ducks, frogs at night, beautiful gardens just fabulous atmosphere. We even saw they have a super cute little daycare place so traveling parents can get a little break, it looked like a really fun place for small children and toddlers. We felt very pampered and blessed to have a few days here at the end of our two weeks in Ecuador. The location to get into Otavalo was great too close but removed from the city feel.

We stayed one night (Saturday) into Sunday morning. Sunday's breakfast is a set menu - and no ala carte options. The breakfast was many (delicious) courses and with spectacular views, but the option to have smaller portions would've been nice (especially traveling with kids.) I would've loved an option for coffee to be delivered to the room (since we also had such spectacular views from our porch) - and regret not asking because the staff was just so accommodating. These are not negatives as much as nice-to-haves. The only complaint I had about our stay (and relayed this to reception) is that there is a small pen of chickens & roosters adjacent to the mini golf course. The rooster had a lot to say well before sunrise and due to the proximity of our cabin, it was disruptive. While the animals add charm to the grounds, constant crowing does not make for the quietest stay for light sleepers. I'd reiterate I would absolutely return and adore this property - but would suggest management find an alternate location for these guys ;)

This property was recommended to us by friends and we were not disappointed. The grounds are really well maintained - and offer activities like water sports, mini-golf, foosball, and even a small playhouse with coloring supplies and a play kitchen for little kids. We were offered a boat cruise at a small additional cost on Saturday night which included a one hour sunset cruise on the lake with a live band - where they also served a warm Ecuadorian drink (canelazo) and offered us ponchos to keep warm. It was so festive and fun and a perfect way to take in the scenery. We spent some time in the restaurant in the evening for a snack and drinks where we enjoyed live music (again, it was Saturday night!) and returned to our room to hot water bottles warming our pillows and a staff member lighting our room's fireplace. The family room we booked was spacious and comfortable. The kids had their own sleeping space in the balcony area (with small reading lights they loved!) and we had a small outdoor space with a lake view that we enjoyed morning and night.) The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff at the property were overly accommodating and pleasant and the food and drinks we consumed were really delicious. We are very much looking forward to returning!

The walls were too thin. We could hear everything the people next to our cabin were doing. At some point (at 5am) I had to go knock on their door to ask them to stop singing.
