It didn’t have elevator for the suitcase. It is in the middle of two avenues and apart from hearing the noice inside the hostal, there is a lot of noice outside

The hostal and furniture is quite old but it is good for the price paid.

Unfortunately the central location between two main roads meant that it was noisy all day and all night. The curtains didn't fir over the beautiful curved windows so it was very light in the room at night. We had to ring the bell to come in and out of the building - great security but we felt bad for the lady running up and down the stairs!

Location was great walking distance to sights in centre and staff were friendly and helpful. They did a great job with our big pile of washing. Room was a great size, beds were comfy and the shower was hot.

Very good value for money. The ceiling was not nice but other than the room I got was very comfortable: silky sheets, comfy matress, nice hot shower. Quite noisy as it has a road passsing right in front, but it didn’t bother me at all. The staff is very nice and helpful. Close to the Centro Histórico. I recommend it.

Too noisy at night as its location next to a tram station and a busy downtown area. The building has seen better days but the rooms were specious and clean.

Perfect location … just in the beautiful old town. Wonderful hot shower water … u may take shower as long as you want , no need to worry about time. Flawlessly clean… and the hospitality is great , they are always there supportive and helpful. When I come back to Quito , I will definitely live here again.

Everything is a bit dated, as you might expect for a budget place. The entry stairs are especially offputting.

The hostal has a great location overlooking Plaza San Blas. My room was extremely atmospheric, with a 12 foot ceiling, and huge domed window facing the plaza. Hot water in the bathroom is nice.

I got really bad altitude sickness and we had to climb up to the second floor. it took a lot out of me. things nearby do close early and open late. you also had to ring the doorbell for someone to come down which is good for safety.

I liked how close the property was to our pick up point for all of our excursions. the wifi was great and worked fast. they also sell water for your altitude sickness. it was quiet at night time too and they always cleaned our room which was great.

The room was clean and big The shower was powerful and hot. The owners are so so nice. They helped me when i was struggling with getting a taxi and spoke to the taxi driver for me!! The historic part of quito is not safe, but felt safe inside. Many doors are locked. Just also be aware that there is another hotel with the same name about fifteen minutes away, so ensure that the taxi follows the address and didn't just Google the title.
