Adorable B&B towards the end of the main 'strip'. Being at the end of the road means a 5 minute walk vs. 2 minute walk to the center of town. The Drake is was lovely with lots of common area space including a courtyard with tables and a hammock and a rooftop lounge area. Bonus is the drying room where you can put your wet stuff to dry - everything dried alot faster in this outdoor, but covered, space. Breakfast is continental, staff were friendly.

Just in need of a little updating in the rooms

The location is amazing! Right on the beach and has a stunning roof top terrace with panoramic views. Eva is a joy and provided a lovely welcome on arrival. Great to have a place to wash and dry clothes and appreciated being able to store luggage once checked out.

The jacuzzi on the roof wasn't heated. We didn't use it anyway since the beach was right across the street. Staff is not available on site all the time, which didn't bother me in the slightest.

I loved being on the quieter end of town with beach access directly across the street. Our room was great; it had two bedrooms, so my daughter could have her own space. Each bedroom had A/C. We arrived on the ferry around 9am and we were surprised to find our room was already available, which made getting ready for an 11am excursion so much easier. The bar operates on the honor system, so we could grab a beverage at any time we wanted, even when the staff wasn't on site.

We loved that breakfast was included. We stayed for 11 nights, which seems longer than most, but would have enjoyed a greater variation in breakfast selection. Maybe a couple of other cereals would be easy enough to manage. The building had Wifi throughout, but the connection in teh bedroom as quite slow. In the common areas the wifi was good. But would have been nice to enjoy air-con and wifi connection at the same time.

excellent location and roof top terrace. good for relaxing and bird watching. Location is at the beautiful and quiet end of the beach, which was perfect for us. The town is very small and a very short walk to the main square, for us this was the best of both worlds. The room was very clean and comfortable, with reliable air-con which was much appreciated. Loved the rooftop jacuzzi bath. perfect place to relax after a trip. This alone makes Drake Inn incredible competitive in my opinion.

The balcony on the top with the view of the beach. The lovely and helpful staff. The bed was comfortable and clean. The views from the balcony were stunning. The breakfast was great and there were drinks available near the rooms.

The Desk Manager Eva took great care of us!! Location is On the beach! easy 5 minute walk to town, comfortable, clean, great AC, great ocean view from patio rooftop which was where we hung out. Rooms are small without much closet space but that was minor inconvenience.

The rooms are comfortable and the rooftop was special with a view of the ocean. After a long day of sightseeing it was a great place to relax with a drink. Eva, the receptionist, was top notch. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. She helped us book tours and was available to us when we needed something.

Very helpful staff and owners were onsite as well and happy to share information and suggestions about local activities. Beautiful patios on the 2nd look and the rooftop for sunset viewing. Good location. Beach across the rod. Easy to walk to the main tourist area with restaurants and shops. Nice breakfast options in the morning.

Loved the beach frontage, the private balcony with sun beds, and the space in the room ( stayed in suite with ocean views) We loved Rebecca's positive vibe - nothing was too much trouble, and she would go out of her way to help make your holiday the best it could be.

We loved this place! Right on the beach!. There are plenty of outside sitting areas. The roof area is nice nd airy, and has sufficient sun umbrellas to protect you. We took in a volcano tour. It was very interesting, but we came back really dirty and dusty. Everything, including shoes needed to be washed. I was so happy to see the washing and drying area. We stayed 4 nights and wished that we could have stayed longer. The receptionist, Rebecca, is an absolute gem. She gave us her phone number, and responded promptly and efficiently to each query. Her suggestions for trips, restaurants, etc., were perfect.

Beautiful location, close to everything, But quiet. So Many lovely places sit and enjoy the view around the property. Manager sent items we forgot on ferry for us next day!

Room 3 shower head could be soaked in some vinegar. Have a little better hot water. The one twin bed creaked quite a bit.

Location across from the beach not too far from town. The decor was quaint and helped with setting your mood.
