Alfredo and his wife are great hosts. He picked us up at the ferry and took us to the airport for free. He was friendly; giving us fruit and then eggs when we were talking about the chickens. His wife cleaned our room every day and even changed the sheets and towels in a 5 night stay. The air con was good. The WiFi was strong to start with but it seemed to time out and get a little weak. But WiFi was good in the kitchen. We used the outdoor kitchen every day and although we cleaned up, she would change cloths and tea towels. Good water dispensers in the kitchen and outside the room. Very comfortable and clean. Effective mosquito guards on windows and doors. We walked into town and to the beach but got $2 taxis back. We highly recommend if you like walking or don’t mind the taxi costs.

I really loved this place! The owner is very nice - he picks you up and drops you off on your arrival/departure for free. The place is very clean and you can just eat the fruits from the garden. I like to walk so it was nice that the accomodation wasnt in town. If you don’t like walking a ride is 2 Dollar.

Our stay was fantastic

Lush green garden with fruits and hammocks to relax. Spacey open kitchen. Very clean room with good AC and comfortable bed. Cool drinking water 24/7. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Possibility to rent snorkeling gear. Free pick up at the harbor and pur hosts drove us frequently to the center and picked us up again for a very fair price.

Honestly ran by the loveliest of people. Alfredo showed me parts of his fruit farm and let me know I could help myself to as much as I please. It’s only 3 dollars in a taxi to the town at any time, but Alfredo will take you for just 2 dollars if he is available.

The location is quite far from the town center, and taxis were more expensive than expected. Outside of airport pick up and drop off, the owner never offered to take us into town, even when he was making trips. We were told taxis would charge $2/trip, but they charged $3/trip. If we went to town in the morning and evening for dinner, it would spend $12/day just to get to town and back.

Rooms were spacious and clean. We used the outdoor kitchen everyday. The location was peaceful. quiet.

The location is a bit far from town. So this really depends on how you travel. If you like to go back to your hostel in between several activities in the day this might not be the best choice but if you’re planning several day tour activities you won’t feel the distance as much.

The rooms are pretty, comfortable and clean. Kitchen for guests to use. Alfredo is so kind, he picked me up a bit later from town so I could get fitted for a wetsuit and dropped me off for my tour in the morning.

The distance from town is not really a concern. Rides in and out of town are easy to find for only $2. The garden is super nice and the rooms are huge.

the property is located a few minutes by car out of town, in a green area full of fruit trees, which for us is a big plus! ( it’s only 2 USD to get there by taxi. The owner (Alfredo) was just the perfect host. we had a problem with the luggage. He went to the airport ( while we were in a day tour) and try to find the luggage for us.

The location is a little far from the main port area, 37 min walk but a quick 5 min drive. The walk is safe and well-lit so I didn’t mind walking at all and the owner & his son pick you up from your ferry and drive you to your tours etc. for free. They are so nice and wonderful. The room is clean, good A/C, spacious, quiet, lovely overall. Free drinking water and they let you pick fruit from their property (the mangoes were not ripe when I was there but it is such a sweet gesture).

the location is not ideal, as it is a 30 minute walk into town, however the taxi ride is cheap and the host is very kind and can help arrange transportation.

the rooms were clean, had great air conditioning, hot water. the host was very kind, and we were able to use his punching bag. the host picked us up and dropped us off at the airport.
