Beds are super comfortable and private with a curtain across, the kitchen is pretty well equipped (could use some more cutlery), there is a work area and relax/lounge area and a rooftop with bar and kitchen. I’ve now stayed here 3 times and always felt very welcomed and safe in the hostel. There is also a super cheap market next door which I would recommend for fruit/veg and breakfast or lunch

The area didn’t feel the safest and was noisy in the morning as the market opens at 6am. However, I didn’t venture out at night and the security in the hostel felt good with codes to each room and the kitchen

Well located (despite from some drunk people around the corner) Nice terrace, co-working space and relax area They also offer different kinds of programs during the week

A bit noisy when there is party on the rooftop, the sheets were all plastic so that I would see small flashes every time I would move The food up there seemed quite pricey I felt that there were only guests from Europe or the US

This hostel was beautiful, clean and well organized with a super helpful staff. I loved the food and the rooftop and thought my room was clean and large with a great bed. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening activities - they helped me meet others and have a great time! Could not recommend this place more for your time in Quito!

Nothing - this hostel exceeded on all points.

Nice comfy beds. friendly staff. Good wifi. Nice spaces to work or chill. Good was nice on the top level

One small thing - they consistently blocked off bathrooms around checkout time 9-11am for cleaning. Not very fair for those who want to have a shower or use the facilities before leaving!!!

The view from the Terras is amazing. The staff is very friendly. Everything was always clean. The historical city center is in walking distance.

The hostal is an a very scetchy neighborhood, during the day there is no problem, but all local people we talked to strongly advised against going out after dark. The warm water in the shower never really worked. The towels provided by the hostel were tattered rags with holes in them.

Had some issues with hot water but eventually resolved.

    - Best dorm room I’ve ever stayed in (privacy curtain, electrical plug and light for each bed, huge storage lockers in the room). - Felt very secure with lots of security codes to keep the guest areas separate from the public areas. - Short walk from historic centre. - Super helpful staff. - Great rooftop patio with really good food and drinks. - Lots of fun activities offered and ideas for tours you can book directly from the hostel.

    - The shower water was always super cold every time I showered (it never even got a little bit warm).

Great staff, great location. Food there was lovely. WiFi was great. Power in lockable drawers. Free water and tea. Sport on TV. Activity most nights, fantastic rooftop view. Airport transfer for same/cheaper that Uber. Right next to a SIM card place, big fresh market and a few blocks from a free ATM for international cards All for $5. What's not to love

Only improvement is beds could have curtains ( I'm being really picky here)

Super cheap. Staff were super helpful, showed me where to get the cheapest SIM card, free ATM for cash withdrawal and the best local beers. Family dinner was great food and a cool rooftop to chill and hang.

Small downside - No working plug socket in my lockable draw, only one in the room for 6 people which was being used

The hostel is close to the food market and near the historical centre. The mattress is new and comfortable, the bathrooms are kept clean and the rooftop has a good view of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The kitchen was under renovation. There were many stairs to climb as the hostel is in a three storey building.

It is a great, spacious hostel with lots of bathrooms, a communal kitchen, and a living room with hot water available to brew. The rooftop view is amazing. There is a free walking city tour. The staff is amazing.

    A bit uncomfortable beds.

We stayed here twice, before and after our Galapagos trip. We were able to store our luggage for 10 days for free which was amazing. The rooftop is fantastic, the kitchen is well equipped and the shared bathrooms are very clean with excellent showers. The staff were all excellent, especially Ely who gave us lots of helpful advice on tours in Ecuador. Community has a lovely social vibe with lots of activities without feeling like a party hostel. We loved the family dinner! Our second stay was far more comfortable than the first - try and request the "Ochoa" room if you're going for a private room. It is almost twice as big as the "Climber" room, with towels provided and a much more comfortable bed (for the same price!). The Climber was very noisy as music and traffic drifted down from the rooftop from 8am until after 11pm. Bring a good pair of earplugs if this would bother you, but overall I would definitely recommend staying here!

    Very clean. Helpful staff.

The big dorm is far too small for 10 beds. The hostel might be an option for those seeking for party places, but the loud music is continuous and overwhelming until 11 pm.
