We loved Maria and Mari! They were so kind and helpful! We stayed at the hotel before we left for Galápagos and before we traveled back home. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience—great breakfasts in the courtyard, clean rooms, close to the city center, and very safe.

The perfect stay started with a well arranged airport transfer booked through the hotel. We felt super welcomed after our free of charged early check in and enjoyed our first delicious breakfast in Ecuador. The main tourist attractions in the historic center of Quito are in walkable distance. The room was big, the bed was comfortable and the shower with nice hot water. We highly recommend this nice boutique hotel :)

I liked everything about the property.

The hotel owner, Maria, and her staff treated me like family. She also arranged a driver, Lenin, to take me to and from two nearby villages. He took me to a traditional restaurant and offered me much information about Ecuador. Exceptional service beyond what I’ve experienced elsewhere. The colonial building it was housed in was beautiful and in a central location.

The pillows were a little soft. Location is a bit further from the main historical centre so couldn’t walk restaurants at night.

My wife and I had the most amazing four-night stay at Casa Anabela. We were blown away by the comfort of the property, as well as the hospitality of the hosts. Our room was beautiful and well-appointed, with a strong WiFi connection and ample hot water. The included breakfast was delicious, with the bread, avocado, and coffee being highlights. The hosts were ready to accommodate our vegetarian diets. The location is convenient, within walking distance of all the sights in the historic district as well as a Metro stop. We felt comfortable walking around the area during daylight hours. The arranged transfer from the airport was easy and affordable. The driver, Lenin, is kind and had good information about the city. The manager, Maria, was so helpful and provided good information about things to see and do in Quito. She also facilitated laundry service and always helped with other requests when asked. Better yet, she provided us with a (very) late checkout in order to accommodate a scheduled late night transfer. The breakfast attendant and housekeeper, Mary, was also very kind and went out of her way to help us. I happily rate this accommodation a 10/10. In my many years of travel, I have rarely stayed somewhere so beautiful and comfortable, and with such lovely, gracious hosts.

Casa Anabela is a fabulous place to stay in historic old town Quito! Lovely building with a most generous staff. I cannot think of one negative- breakfast was wonderful and plentiful, and prepared early on days we had scheduled events early. On the day of check out, we were graciously allowed to stay until our 3pm airport pickup. Stay at Casa Anabela Boutique Hotel - you will not regret it!

I had a most wonderful stay at Casa Anabela Hotel in Quito. Maria was the most amazing host, who went above and beyond to make me feel at home! The breakfast was substantial and delicious. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Mari was also very kind and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a FANTASTIC hotel! The building is beautiful, the location is great (just a short walk from the historic centre of Quito), and Maria and Mari were incredible - both so kind, welcoming, and helpful! They gave us advice about what to see & do, booked taxis to & from the airport for us, and checked in on us throughout our stay. We didn't want to leave! The room was gorgeous and comfy, and we had excellent breakfasts each morning - fresh fruits, croissants, fried or scrambled eggs cooked to order, cereal, and great coffee. In the lobby and on the balcony there were comfy chairs where we sat to read our books. When I saw the fantastic reviews on this hotel I couldn't believe it would live up to them, but it absolutely did! I would highly recommend this hotel (and Quito!)

Big quiet room in the historic centre of Quito. Fantastic breakfast, good coffee. very nice hosts who also organised transport for us and let us stay in the room until the afternoon prior to our evening flight departure. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is simply amazing. I travel often and this is definitely in my top 5 especially for the price. Maria, Lenning and Mari made us feel right at home. The breakfast was substantial. Maria also helped us coordinate delivery for dinner and Lenning picked us up at the airport.
