Loved this hotel. Staff went out of their way for me on multiple occasions, upgraded my room (which was massive, very comfortable and immaculate), and they spoke great English which was fabulous given my almost non-existent Spanish beyond the basics. I had a big bag of laundry done at a good price with same day service. Restaurant onsite was reasonably priced, had a good variety of food, and the service in here was also spot on. Breakfast was included, and was tasty.

There was quite a bit of road noise in the evening. There was a fan in the bathroom that came on automatically the moment anyone stepped inside the bathroom, even when it was dark, and it was very noisy and kept waking us at night. We asked for a boxed breakfast to take with us to the airport, and told them we were vegetarian and didn't eat any meat, but the sandwich had meat in it. The restaurant menu was very meaty and had no vegetarian options, and the staff didn't know of any vego restarants nearby. However, we did find a great restaurant for lunch called PRANA, associated with a Hindu temple. And we had great vego food at a nearby Indian restaurant, Sher e Punjab, that we were able to easily access via Uber.

The breakfast was good. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very nice hotel.

The room was very small and the stairs leading to the room were narrow. It wasn't easy lugging our large bags up the stairs. Fortunately, we only had to go up 1 flight of stairs. There is an elevator on the newer side of the hotel.

The hotel is lovely. It is nicely decorated and there are multiple places to sit comfortably while you are waiting for a transfer or tour pick-up. Our room was very small. We had two, comfy twin beds and the room was nice and warm. It was early January and the temperature was pretty cool at the time that we were there. It was good that they offered a little desk in the room. There was enough space for me to get some work done on a laptop. They have a nice restaurant and a nice, small bar area. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food and service were really good, a bit pricey for Ecuador. The breakfast buffet was really good and they had a lot of options. Everyone at reception spoke English well, they were all very helpful and friendly. Our transfer to Baños was an hour late and the doorman waited with us to make sure that everything was okay.

I was surprised that I had to pay my bill for the four nights I would be staying right when I arrived. I've never had that happen before and it seemed strange to me. I don't like paying for something before I actually receive the item or service. Fortunately, I did like the hotel, etc., but that just seemed weird. I would have liked the breakfast to have better bread choices, such as croissants. Quito is full of bakeries with nice choices for bread. This was the only part of the breakfast that I didn't appreciate.

I liked the ambiance of the hotel, the layout where it had different sections where the rooms were located, so almost felt like a smaller boutique hotel. I liked the decor, the cleanliness, and the friendliness of the staff. Breakfast had really good fresh fruit, along with several choices for various palates.

The bathroom was so tiny. I was difficulty to move inside of the bathroom and the smell of the toilet was awful. During my first stay, the room was really nice but this time it was really horrible. So I didn't think, i paid a just price fort the room.

It was my second time i had stay in this hotel. The breakfast was really great. There was a lot of protein so it was good. Bed was really comfy !

Not much to critisise really. Shower head could have been better. Restaurant should offer at least one proper vegetarian option (not just pasta and tomato sauce).

This is a very nice boutique hotel with lots of charm. Lobby and rooms are beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay there. Staff was friendly and helpful. Anyone who appreciates design should visit this hotel. It's a nice change to all the standard chain hotels. I had lots of light in my room, even the bathroom has daylight. It's very pleasant. Good breakfast spread with fresh fruits. The location is also good near the Mariscal area and not too far away from the historic centre.
