My recent stay in Quito's historic district was nothing short of wonderful, and the location of our accommodation was absolutely perfect. It truly is a gem, placing us right in the heart of the action with effortless access to all the incredible sights and experiences this beautiful city has to offer. The convenience was unmatched. Stepping out, we found ourselves surrounded by a wealth of amenities. From charming cafes and authentic restaurants to artisan shops and local markets, everything I needed was just a short, pleasant stroll away. A major highlight was the proximity to the famous Basilica del Voto Nacional. Its magnificent architecture was a constant, breathtaking presence on our walks, and the ability to visit it with such ease was a huge bonus. Even more enchanting was the local park and playground just a stone's throw away. This spot quickly became our favorite retreat, offering a fantastic and unforgettable panoramic view of the Basilica's towering spires and the entire city of Quito spread out below. This location proved to be extremely well-situated for anyone looking to fully immerse themselves in the rich culture and history of Quito. It provided a perfect base for exploration while offering a peaceful and beautiful place to return to. I couldn't have asked for a better spot to experience the city. Henry, the host, was super easy to communicate with via WhatsApp.

We left thr apartment and after a while we realized that we left a pair of shoes there, so we call the guy to arrange the pick up in the future. Sadly we were told (after numerous phone calls) that he GAVE THE 200$ HIKING SHOES TO THE HOMELESS GUY ON THE STREET

There is no door between the bedroom and kitchen area so it might be good to have some curtains/blinds to stop the light coming in in the morning - however the windows are frosted so was fine from a privacy perspective. It would also be good to have a little bit more cutlery and a tea towel in the kitchen.

The apartment was walking distance from the main square in the historic centre. The apartment was clean and had the necessary cooking equipment for basic meals. The bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water. Check in was really easy with a self collection key box at the front of the house.

The location was perfect, it was the perfect size for us and it was very comfortable. It also felt very safe. It was easy to book and very easy to check in. The neighbors in the building were very nice and friendly.

When a place costs less than average, I always feel bad criticizing it, but in the interest of sharing information, here are some negative points of this apartment. The fridge (not the freezer) froze all the food that I bought for four days and put in there. No toaster. No hot water in the kitchen or bathroom sinks. The shower would go freezing cold from time to time, which would be painfully cold, seeing as there are air bricks in that room, which let in the cold night air. No bedroom door and no cover from sunlight in the very early morning. The bedside cabinet was not beside the bed - it was in the kitchen. The bedside lamp was not beside the bed - it was also in the kitchen. The door of the kitchen cabinets was falling off. Only one fork, glass, and dinner plate - could be a problem if two people stayed. No bowls and very little else in kitchen. Only one toilet roll provided. Initially, I was provided with just one small, frilly towel. It was simply not enough to dry my body after showering and my hands in the bathroom and the kitchen for the four nights that I stayed, so I asked if I could have an extra hand towel. I was provided with one, but it came with a message that, because of the cheap price of the accommodation, they do not provide any extras, such as towels or extra toilet paper. It's one thing to rent your accommodation cheaply, but if it doesn't provide what the guests need to be comfortable, then it's no good. In my humble opinion, it would be better to charge an extra dollar or two and provide the basics that the guests need.

Lots of electrical sockets available, including some near the bed. Good location, very close to the Shrine of the National Vow, restaurants and shops. The kitchen has four cooking hobs, fridge and microwave. Comfortable bed. Lots of blankets. Memory foam pillows. Hot water in the shower... mostly.

Amazing location in very quiet area in the center with a lot os space. Perfect for 2 or 3 people although I was alone. The Kitchen is well equipped, the room is large and the bed is even larger! You also have washing and drying machine so this apartment has everything.

They are a bit disorganized. We had to wait around 10 minutes outside for someone to show up to check us in. We settled in the apartment and went out for dinner, when we were leaving there was a family outside waiting for someone to open the door for them, we let them in and we left. When we got back from dinner, that family was still in the hallway waiting to check into their apartment. We went up to our apartment to shower and the host knocked on the door asking us to change apartments because they checked us in the wrong apartment and that family outside was waiting for their apartment. It wasn't a problem for us to switch apartments, but I would be furious if I was that family.

The apartment was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets to keep us warm at night. The location is great for walking around the historic center.

A perfect location in the Centro Histórico. Easy to visit places. Many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Three artisanal breweries within walking distance (< 500 meters) 🍻 The apartment is spacious. Well stocked with equipment and utensils. Very helpful owner.

Great spacious modern apartment right near the heart of Laureles. Well equipped kitchen that even had a toaster oven. Great shower and very clean and new appearance. Would definitely recommend this apartment!
