The beach was really beautiful even tho if it was raining. Rooms are cozy and beds are comfy

There were a lot of defects in my room, specially in the bathroom. Little detailed that makes a big difference. Stuff was not offering good customer service on the bar/restaurant area (rolling up eyes whenever you ask for something) plus it takes a lot of time to be served during the meal services.

I didn't like that the towels were to old and the white one, were kind of black.

This place was an absolute dream! We only stayed one night and instantly wished we had booked more. Everything was perfect — the cozy room, the delicious food, the cocktails, the stunning views, and the magical sunset. We loved every moment and can’t wait to come back. The service was wonderful too. I highly recommend it.

It was my 4th time there, the beach, the pool, and the rooms were as always wonderful, dinner BBQ at the beach on Saturdays as well.

We checked in at 3:30 pm and wanted to have a bit to eat as we had a 2.5-hour drive but the restaurant was not attending because they had to get ready for dinner, there was nothing to eat and there was nothing close by to go out to, we had to beg the waiter and then hey except to make us some sandwiches, in there sing kitchen closes at 4 pm. After lunch went to the room to get ready for the beach and went to get towels but we were told they didn't have beach towels available to cum back in 20 minutes, We came back in 2 hours and still no towels, The next day the same thing, we had to use our room towels to get dry and finally at dinner we ordered and had to wait 1 hour for food because waiter made mistake and gave our food to another table 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. It was stressful with all these things that never happened on previous visits. At least I think he was the manager Fernando apologized and tried to make our night better.

We liked the fact that it was in front of the beach. The food at the restaurant was very good. Service is good.

Lounge chair mattress were not clean and most of the towels had a lot of stains.

They will charge you extra for any special request you have, no matter how small.

Property is cosy and well maintained. All the cabins just a couple steps to the beach. Also the staff was always welcoming and looking for anything to make your stay exceptional. The staff change set up for the restaurant around the pool for a very romantic and unforgettable dinner, no just to mention that even special arrangements can be made to set up special dinner at the beach dock under the stars. Food was excellent and varied, from very local dishes to typical international recipes to please all kind of tastes and persons. Special thanks to the staff - Ruth, Cridania, Danger, Fernando, Edwin, Alexander & Melvin (Sancocho’s chef). See you guys very soon.!!

That The pool closed too early

Amazing location with beautiful beach area. Great staff with good onsite restaurant with good choice of breakfast and dinner.

Bit overpriced for the luxury you get. Rooms are not well kept and beds are for sure not well kept. They are average and manageable but you are expecting luxury facility in terms of your room it is not.

We just had the most wonderful time at Punta Rucia Lodge! It's truly a beautiful place, kept super clean. The staff were always busy, picking up leaves and cleaning the beach every single day. Our little cottage was lovely, just the right size, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. They cleaned our room spotless every day, too! While we were there, it was pretty quiet and peaceful, even with a few other guests. Everyone was just enjoying their time without bothering anyone. The water was crystal clear, and the private beach was amazing for just chilling out – no loud music to interrupt! The best part, though, was definitely the staff! Big thanks to Alex, Ruth, Danger, Edwin, and Eridania. Every single person was so kind and always made sure we were having a great time. Some spoke good English, but even the ones who didn't tried so hard to help, even teaching us some Spanish in a fun way! The food at the restaurant was really good, especially the local dishes. Even the coffee was very good. We also had a magical romantic dinner on the pier one evening. The staff made it so beautiful with lovely decorations as the sun went down. It was so cool to see the fish swim right up to the pier while we ate! We booked two private trips through the hotel, and both were fantastic. The boat trip to Paradise Island was incredible! Our boat driver gave us plenty of time to snorkel and see all the colorful fish underwater. And the ride back, speeding through the bushes, was so much fun! Our other trip was to the Damajagua Wwterfalls, which was also amazing. We had a driver, and Sadiel, one of the staff members, that came with us. His English was excellent, and he helped us understand everything. This trip was extra special because it was my husband's birthday, and he said it was his best birthday ever! We had such a great time, even in the car, as they showed us a bit of real Dominican life. It was truly priceless!

Sometimes there can be some mosquitoes on the pier and next to swimming pool but only in the evenings and it is something very hard to manage
