there was NO hot water our entire stay. they kept telling us they were "fixing the water heater" but I think that is a lie. they also randomly cut off the water one morning without letting us know..

The location was great, close to everything we wanted to see and felt pretty safe walking at night. The AC in the room is COLD which was appreciated. the breakfast could be better but it was good.

Our toilet didn't flush properly, so we had to do number 2's in the lobby. That's quite unacceptable if you ask me. Once i told the staff about this, they said that they would solve it which did not really happen. After that we were offered a smaller room with single beds, but that was not an option for us either. The evening before departure we finally got a similar room (with working toilet) offered, but that was a little way too late to be honest. I was promised a partial refund, but i'm still waiting on the manager of the hotel to contact me. I hope he does after reading this comment.

Nice location and the hotel is stunning. The staff is also very kind and helpful. Herby especially went out of his way to accomodate us.

The breakfast choices were ok for a free breakfast. If I had to choose something that wasn't 5/5 this would be it. And we had no view from the room.

The location was unmatched. We were walking distance from shops, restaurants, museums, tourist attractions, even the police station. We never used transportation until it was time to go to the airport. The hotel was cute was very comfortable.

The size of the bed for 2 people, two twin beds together doesn't make a king size bed. Called front desk, but never answer. And we have to wake up at 11:30PM to go to front desk to ask to fix the A/C that wasn't programmed correctly.

Water for shower didn’t get very hot but warm enough.

The hotel was comfortable and great value for your money. Breakfast and rooftop area was very nice. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Unfortunately, the rooms are not the quietest, and the hotel is not well soundproofed. For instance, if someone were to walk down the hallway and also happen to be on their phone or with someone, and happen to have a conversation, you can hear the entire conversation. Especially on a Friday night, and you happen to be staying on the third floor, you can hear the loud noise and the music from the terrace, which is the floor right above you. I believe on Friday/Saturday night the hotel has live music/karaoke, which can be pretty loud, and it can go until midnight. So this is something you to consider, or at least request a different room on a different floor.

I like the overall aesthetics of this hotel. Great and friendly staff, conveniently located in Zona Colonial, and easily walking distance from most places around Zona Colonial. There are many restaurants and bars in the vicinity offering many choices to their occupants. The overall hotel rooms are quite spacious. The hotel comes with a complimentary breakfast. The food is good and offers quite a good variety of hot and cold dishes, and other various fresh juices. The property is well-maintained, clean, and very secure. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting the Santo Domingo area.

Rooms with no windows, so the smell in the rooms and bathrom wasn’t nice. Otherwise the hotel looks nice from the outside also the reception and other parts. Maybe we just weren’t lucky with the room.
