I did not like the food at the Toros restaurant because the vegetables were overcooked and the Skirt steak was chewy. The entertainment was poor. I requested on the Rock website bathrobes because there were none in the closet and they were never delivered. My room refrigerator was not working and I was overwhelmed calling operators to bring me a new one.

I enjoyed walking at the Lobby. It is very cleaned. I like there are many pools to choose from too. The room service was good.

Check in process, walking distance to activities, constant pressure to buy into their members package. Exclusion from half pool and half beach because we weren't "members." There should be more shade structures, but there wasn't enough. The shower fixture needs fixing, and the bathroom needs more ventilation.

Had issues with language barriers, as we didn't speak Spanish. We did have issues when communicating with staff that handled food service. There are limited choices for vegetarians. While most of the food was prepared fresh which was great, we did notice the seasoning was not there. The food dishes had to be substituted may be due to lack of supply. Example a dish requiring lamb shank was substituted by chops or missing feta cheese in salads etc.

The staff was pretty good and accommodating. The proximity to the beach was great. The water park and pools were a hit with the family. Overall the property was a nice experience. Given the number of people the property was hosting the support staff did a good job. We enjoyed the fresh tropical fruits and many of the drinks.

Drinks are watered down. Staff is expecting tips. Our Room was not ready. I had to call 3 times for them to prepare the bed for my kids. Still was not done since sofa bed was out of order and they brought a single bed for my 2 kids. “Marcos” was not cooperative over the phone. I had to walk all the way to the lobby where “Hamlet” help me. First call was around 6 pm. Problem was solved around 9:30 pm. What a waste of my time.

There isn’t much to complain about with the property to be honest. If I had to say there were any dislikes, I guess I would say the fact that the arcade was not included. I understand bowling and the escape room being an extra fee but we were kind of disappointed about the arcade not being included. Aside from that, we did have one instance with one front desk employee that was not very kind or pleasant. She was the only employee we encountered who I feel should probably look for excellence elsewhere, as it seemed she did not enjoy what she does.

My family and I loved the different options and accessibility of food and bars. There is absolutely no way of going hungry with all of the inclusive food, and almost every location had a bar except for the water park. The kids loved the water park and all of the different pools to choose from. My daughter loved the kids club and as a parent this is a major plus. Almost every kid (including mine) that came out of kid club did not want to leave when they were picked up. This made me feel super comfortable and happy to see as a mom. The hotel is both family oriented and a great time for adult groups as well.

It was a big property, it would have been nice when checking in we were told to catch the trolley to take us to the room. Also it would have been great if a map was given at check in.

Everyone was friendly. A lot to do on the property. The rock spa was excellent. The Toro restaurant was awesome.

⸻ The hotel is beautiful, well located, and offers plenty of facilities. However, there are a few things that could definitely be improved. The food is decent, with a good variety, but not particularly impressive. At the bars, service can be slow unless you tip in advance – it often felt like those who tipped were prioritized. Housekeeping didn’t clean our room for three days, and I had to ask for it to be done, including restocking the minibar. Unfortunately, I also experienced a theft – my AirPods were taken, and although I reported it within minutes, the response was disappointing. The staff didn’t check security cameras and only suggested filing a police report. With some attention to service and guest support, this place could be much better.

Food was sufficient, but nothing to write home about. Checkout process was a little confusing and would have benefited from some expectation management on the front end (like at checkin give out instructions for checkout). But those are very minor things.

The room setup was phenomenal - bathroom was huge and extremely functional and well laid out for our party of two moms and two daughters. Property was beautiful and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and attentive. The Adele tribute show was so much fun, along with several of the other entertainment options.

The food was just average. Everything that is not included like sunblock and any other extras are super expensive!!

The property is beautiful and quite large. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. We had a great time and wanted to stay longer! The only thing I would say is the food and drinks are good but not great. The breakfast is very good, but the diner options are just average. The restaurant Toro was very good food, but you need a reservation, and they’re not easy to get with so many people on the property. Book that as far in advance as you can. Otherwise we had a great time! Met many great people and enjoying our week there. We would definitely go back. Despite the mediocre food. 😊

The weirdest thing was that they had only a handful of umbrellas around swimming pools, and most of them were claimed by people leaving their towels and belongings overnight there. If they could buy more umbrellas, that would make a huge difference.

The room had two broken handrails next to the steps. The towel rack in the bathroom was broken. Also, for the amount we paid for “all inclusive “ the additional cost for escape room, laser tag, golf carts and flow rider should have been free as well! ANYTHING inside the resort SHOULD have been included in the price! The food was just ok overall. We thought the Zen restaurant was amazing though!

Beautiful landscape, numerous activities for our teenagers. Wonderful, helpful staff.

The size! Oddly a positive of having everything at the resort can also be a negative. They have golf carts to drive you around the resort because it’s so big. It feels like a machine and you are just one of the thousands of guests they see each day. There are lines for dining, lines for entertainment, you have to make reservations for restaurants, the feeling of the rush you are trying to escape is looming here because you have to plan if you want to do it all. There is nothing “special” or “memorable” about the experience. It’s a beautiful tropical resort but if you want culture, if you want charm, if you want to feel like the hotel is catering to your needs…this is not the resort for you. It is just too big.

The room was beautiful. The property is well maintained. So many restaurant options and so many pool options. So much to do! We have stayed at smaller resorts and we opted to do adventures outside the resort for added entertainment but that was not needed at this resort.

Hard Rock offered no assistance to us on our privately booked excursions - making us take a taxi to the front gate rather than lobby pickup. I understand security, but this seemed to be about us not paying more for the same excursion by booking through Hard Rock. That is just wrong! Further, the food offering was diverse but not of the highest quality. The steak at Toro was not as expected. And, Zen was very disappointing - the worst hibachi restaurant I have ever visited....and, I have visited many!

The noise coming from the hallway was really loud at night...23:00 - 23:30 - 00:00...doesnt matter...people like to talk out loud where others are trying to sleep! It felt like our door was open!! There is a sign asking guests to respect others but, looks like some guests just didnt bother...

What a resort!! Hard Rock knows how to please its guests!! Staff is awesome, lots of pools, music everywhere, great aquapark, kids club is amazing and there are options for all ages!! Restaurants are really fair with long lanes sometimes but it wont take long to get you seated in most of them (except the italian). We even became legendary members!
