I couldn't raise the shade of my bedroom as it was broken.

The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The hotel is located in front of the beautiful sea of Samaná overlooking the walking bridge of Santa Bárbara, where you can walk to two beautiful islets, Cayo Linares and Cayo Virgia. Very courteous staff and great location.

A little smell of humidity coming from the A/C but with some cleaning this can be easily fixed

The pool experience was terrible. There are not enough pool loungers. There were no towels. One of the managers tried to get some but said that they ran out. About 45 minutes later she brought us some towels from guest rooms. Clearly an issue. This is a leisure resort and the pool area was packed. Not good.

Comfortable hotel with good location in Samana. We had booked a tour and we were able to walk to the port. Lots of restaurants around in the area. Felt safe. The restaurant staff is first class.

Not a fault of the hotel but the road outside is incredibly noisy, with loud motorbikes driving up and down all day - some extra soundproofing of balcony doors would go a long way! Not a big issue but a lot of the gym equipment was quite stiff/outdated. Reception staff didn't always seem very willing to help (compared to the others in the hotel). Lastly, could have done with more vegetarian options in the restaurant.

Modern hotel in a great location along the Malecon in Samana (a short walk from the strip of restaurants). Our room was large, clean and very comfortable, equipped with a small kitchen area, spacious balcony and smart TV. Rooftop pool area is lovely, with an incredible view. Restaurant staff were very attentive and went out of their way for guests. The team kindly added a banner on the door for my husband's birthday. We also made good use of the free kayaks, which were a nice touch.

The pool was under construction so there was a bit of noise in our room and during the day. Also there was incessant dog barking in the night from the street dogs, which obviously the hotel can’t control but if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs.

Beautiful view from the room. Nice rooftop pool and bar. We enjoyed the included hour kayak rental. Close enough to walk into town and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very delicious as well!

Nothing. I did a lot of research on the reviews and the hotel & staff lived up and exceeded my expectations.

The hotel was clean with a stunning view of the bay. The staff from the front desk to the restaurant were all very helpful and friendly. Christian, from the restaurant, took care of us every morning and knew how we liked our coffee and was quick to get this for us. My latte was legit so good!! Better than Starbucks all day long!! We set up our office for a couple of hours after breakfast and the staff was very accommodating and did not give us a time limit at our table. Samaná and the people of the Peninsula are beautiful and we hope to come back soon!

Unfortunately they did not have enough pool towels, Every time we went to get one new or change a dirty towel they either just washed them or were only able to provide for 3/4 of our group

Bay view comes with noise from the street but usually quiet after 11pm.

Beautiful view of Samana bay. Loved the balcony. Personnel very friendly, attentive and helpful both in hotel and restaurant. Facilities excellent. Loved the pool and bar on top of hotel. Food excellent in Coroba restaurant.

Not a five star hotel by any standard I am familiar with. Same criticism as other reviewers - I cannot get past the noise on the main road outside the hotel. Kids on motorbikes driving up and down the street. It goes on all night (Friday to Sunday at least). No soundproofing of rooms to mitigate this. Earplugs essential.

Nice rooms with sea views and very comfortable beds. Great rooftop area with nice pools and a bar. Staff are excellent - friendly, professional and efficient. Breakfast is good, not great.

We were not given the code for the wi-fi upon arrival, and had to return to the desk for it. Our key card also stopped working a few times, which was a bit annoying.

They had a nice breakfast buffet, and all the meals we ate there we enjoyed. They were also reasonably priced. The location was great for us, very near the main dock, so convenient for all of the boat tours.
