Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesAlthough the place was very nice the room was very gross. Not clean at all. Killed mosquitoes on the wall, stains on literally everything. Toilet seat was stains brown and yellow. Headboard on the bed looked so dirty and gross. I basically wanted to touch nothing in the room. The doors for the room had about an inch at the bottom that was open where bugs and mosquitoes could get in and also slightly open on the side of the door. The alcohol. It's not even worth drinking. It's so weak and gross. I think it was called classic or classico or something like that. But tequila didn't even taste like tequila. They did have aperol so I drank that the whole time. They also had just a couple cheap brands known any US but not anything I would drink. The food was right under cruise food. We did not like it at all. There were only a handful of things we enjoyed, The hibachi was good and so was the filet at tartufo and the rotisserie chickens they did on the beach. The pools were so disgusting. I mean there's 's hundreds of people in them. And because we were up every morning at about 7:00 and walked by the pools, you could tell nobody cleans them after the day is done. There was all kinds of little hairs and stuff floating. In the water land it always looked cloudy in all the pools. The tables we sat at for dinner and lunch were always dirty or sticky. We saw the cooks touching raw chicken with cooked chicken and vice versa. Some of the staff weren't in the best of moods. But most were nice. Not much for activities and entertainment. They make you wear a bracelet that has really long ends and it's annoying because it gets in the food and gets in all kinds of things. The place is huge so they have shuttles. I noticed a lot of people complaining that they had to walk but us personally We loved getting in our steps and refused to take the shuttles lol Would I book here again, probably not. Id probably splurge a bit more and get a better hotel.
The resort grounds were beautiful and so was the beach even if we did go during seaweed season. For the most part the staff was great. If you find the staff outside wearing green you can ask them for a coconut and they will get you a fresh one and cut it open for you to drink. The steak at tartufo was their only good steak. And one day during lunch at the beach they had rotisserie chicken that we a bit dry but good. They have aperol included. Vendors trying to sell on the beach but they were not pushing and it was nice to be able to buy my kids a souvenir without having to get up. Hibachi restaurant was also good. Although the rooms were not very clean, they were very spacious.

United StatesIt is a very big resort, they run a shuttle every 10-15 minutes but it is always full. It will be best to have a couple of shuttles running at the same time, especially for elders or people with mobility issues. The restaurants are good but the app is not updated and makes it difficult to reserve online we needed to visit the lobby every time to make reservations or see the show schedule.
The hotel is well maintained and facilities are clean and updated.

BrazilThe shuttle runs every 10 minutes, but during busy times it often gets full, and you may have to wait longer - not very convenient. The beach bar also tends to have long lines, so it can take quite a while to get a drink.
Stunning beach and convenient all-inclusive dining - no need to leave the resort.

United StatesCoffee shop - the waitresses seem to not care to serve people , we waited 20 minutes our first day there and when I went to the front to clarify whether we ordered at the counter , a lady rudely told me that someone will be with me , I then tried explaining I had been waiting a while and the waitress kept walking by and ignoring she said well you can’t order here go sit down . This is not the type of treatment you expect at any resort especially at an all inclusive , we pay for our food and drinks ahead of Time , no need to make it seem like it’s a bother to ask for service , we visited multiple times and noticed we weren’t the only ones having to go to the counter requesting to be helped . This needs to be addressed because treatment like this really gives people a bad experience and may determine whether they choose to return to that resort . I have stayed at multiple resorts and was shocked by this employees tasteless actions , usually customer service is a top priority at all inclusive resorts . Restaurant reservations- the reservation system made sense however we couldn’t eat at any of the specialty restaurants our first day since you requires a 24 hour reservation in advance , so that was a bummer . But the other two days we tried their restaurants made up for it , I enjoyed the food both days Check in- was a bit chaotic but we did arrive at the same time as multiple big groups , so the front desk was very busy and full of people but not sure if that really had anything to do with the staff itself , just after a long day of travel you expect to ease into your room as quickly as possible
Restaurants - we had hibachi and steakhouse , the hibachi was good and the steakhouse was decent . Service was good . The buffets had decent foods and service there was also good Room service - our room was clean every time we came back from breakfast and our mini bar restocked Bar- Richard our bartender for this trip was wonderful and respectful! We looked forward to going to the lobby bar because we knew we would receive wonderful service from him Coffee shop - Juan M was great , I don’t believe he was a waiter , but bussing tables but regardless took our order since the waitresses at the coffee shop were in no rush to serve their clients . Also the drinks we ordered were good Activities - the white party was very fun , I usually don’t stay up late , but I stayed for the whole event . The DJ and entertainers definitely set a good ambiance . We also attended Latin night and had a blast. Rooms - the rooms were comfortable and spacious

Brazilbreakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks, need to improve on quality, this is a big resort, imaging a small city going to lunch at the same time in a buffet, it's almost impossible to keep the quality of the buffet food and you have long lines. The snacks (food trucks) are the worse, even the cookers doesn't care on what and how they are cooking. Again, is a big resort with a lot (a lot) of people.
The resort is quite new, so the rooms are very good and everything works. We liked the restaurants ONLY in the dinner, because the dinner works under reservation with an a la carte menu.
