The location is a bit remote and difficult to find, but the host provides an app and a link that makes it a bit easier to find.

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Lessie showed me around their garden and explained the nature of Dominica. His wife gifted me fruit. He gave me a lot of recommendations on what to visit and where to eat. The apartment has a lot of amenities - a washer, stove and oven, TV, list goes on. I can't believe they even had a phone with mobile hotspot. That is the best thing I've ever encountered when staying somewhere. Easy parking. Fair price Beautiful apartment and very, very clean. Definitely feels new. Good appliances and furniture.

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were so warm and welcoming. They provided us with lots of very helpful information and even provided us with a mobile phone, which we used to help us navigate around the island (we had problems with our own phone). The apartment was so clean and comfortable. There were also lots of thoughtful and helpful additions; for example a water filter, some herbs and spices and coffee. The apartment is surrounded by nature and is a peaceful place to rest after busy days hiking and exploring the island. We would recommend using own transport to reach the property but there maybe local minibuses that would drop you nearby. However, there is a local restaurant within walking distance. We would definitely recommend staying at cozy vacation retreat, it's a fabulous place.

One of the best places we stayed at! The pictures don't do justice. it is super comfortable, had all the amenities ( including washing machine! and cooking oil and spices!). Close to all the hikes. For us, it was the host Leslie! Leslie, you are an epitome of Dominican kindness and friendliness! Excellent place to live in Dominica. The place is exactly as pictured. It was close to Roseau and many historical sites. The hosts were friendly and exceptionally helpful. The place was very clean, and the amenities were super convenient. Washing machine, air conditioning, hot water etc. I want to go back and I will live in that very same place. Hats off to you 👏

Great place! We loved the location--it was nice and quiet, close to hiking but not far from the city. There was air conditioning in the bedroom, which was perfect for warm days. Plus, the hosts were so kind and helpful!

The bedside lighting is kind of confusing as it keeps flickering when the charging station is on. May be our problem of not knowing how to turn off the bedside light.

You can have everything there-streaming TVs, washing machine with detergent, bedside charging stations, etc. I really mean everything, which shows how detailed the hosts are in terms of accommodating the customers. And the room is squeaky clean. If you are in Dominica and would like to go to Boiling Lake region, do not even hesitate to choose this place as I can assure you no place is better than this.

Unfortunately the bed - it was too soft, spring mattress. Every day we were debating to stay or not to stay because of the bed. And every day we decided to stay because overall it was such a good place to be in. I would definitely recommend the host to get a better, firmer (maybe foam) matress, it will make a world of difference. And the shower was a bit closer to luke warm/warm but never truly hot - maybe it could be adjusted. Regardless I would still recommend this place - it's great!

It was EXCEPTIONALLY clean, just the cleanest place on the island! The kitchen is amazingly equipped, everything is thought through - every detail. It's very professionally run by the hosts. We really really liked the place.

Only slight downside is that the apartment is difficult to find, especially if you arrive in the dark - Lessie said he's planning to organise some better signage though.

Really spacious, spotlessly clean apartment, in a very quiet location in the Roseau Valley and close to Trafalgar Falls, start of Boiling Lake trail and Titou Gorge. Lessie is a lovely helpful chap, and lives in the apartment above so was on hand with great advice, and also available on WhatsApp. He really makes you feel welcome, and even went to the trouble of getting some groceries for me as my flight arrived quite late. Dominica is a stunning island, waterfalls, mountains, hiking trails, beaches, coral reefs - what more could you need!

Location very convenient for local attractions, walking routes and bus into Roseau. The host was fantastic! He lent me a phone so that I could make local calls and use Google Maps, he gave me a ride to Roseau and to the start of one of the local walks. Plus lots of helpful advice.

The apartment was incredibly clean and well equipped (there's even a smartphone if you need to make any internal calls). The owners were also very nice and helpful. We didn't expect it to be that good and were impressed with the place. We needed a good night sleep before our 7h trek to boiling lake and we recommend anyone who wants to do this trek to book 2 nights. This way you can be rested for the hike and you can rest after in a very comfortable and quiet place (believe me you will need it). Bottom line: I highly recommand it!

Everything was perfect

Lessie went out of his way to make sure that you are comfortable at all times, including taking me to the grocery store and a tour around Roseau and the surroundings. I will most definitely return to this place again , it felt like home away from home

We had a wonderfull time in Cozy Vacation retreat! Lessie and his wife were full of kindness, had an Amazing sense of hospitality and had a lot of good tips to visit the Island. The place was very clean, cosy with a good atmosphere in. I definetly recomanded this place if you want to have a good Time in Dominica. Certainly one of the best appartment i've been.

Not related to the house itself but do be warned that buses are few and far between and that having a car is a better idea for exploring the island.

The photos do not do justice to the house, and I told Lessie that he needs better photos to show how much more light there is, how everything is new and well done in the house. Lessie is very helpful, communicates quickly and overall a great host. The house is in the very green and lush part of the island , and within walking distance to the Trafalgar falls (not an easy walk on the knees). Everything in the house us provided, even more than basic toiletries, which makes it the best house we stayed at on our long trip on multiple islands.

So, I don't have words to describe our stay in Lessie house. Perfect, amazing... it is not enough. Lessie and his family are great hosts. They welcome us with fresh fruits from their garden, Lessie give us advices what to sites to visit and where to go. He gave us even a cell phone to use it as hotspot for internet during our stay. Place is very clean, quiet, not far from Roseau. Located in forest and during the night you can listen the bird's songs. Dominica is a wonderful island! Great nature, amazing people! Than you Lessie, Thank you Dominica!

Everything was fine. The unit is a few miles outside of town in the hills so best to get groceries before you arrive. It is a bit hard to locate but the owner provided a video to help us out. I would recommend arriving before dark if this is your first time visiting.

The owner went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. He provided fresh fruit, a phone to use with wi-fi and for local calls, and even drove us to a restaurant when we had trouble finding our way around. This first floor one bedroom apartment with a washing machine is a great deal (very reasonably priced), and near a few of the tourist sites most people want to see.

Everything was good.

Everything was excellent in this place. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. Especially liked all the plugs, UK, American and USB. Good wifi. The kitchen had everything (we brought groceries from Roseau). Our host, Leslie, was wonderful. He was friendly and super helpful. Could not have asked for a better host. (Note: There are many missing roads on Google maps. We used the app maps.me, which has the missing roads and also has hiking trails). We walked to Trafalgar town 30 min, the falls or Woten Waven are both about another 30 min walk from there. We had an amazing week-long stay at this place and enjoyed all the hiking in the area.

The accommodation was clean, fully equipped (kitchen equipment, blender, toaster, phone with data, hair dryer...), and close to many places worthy of interest. Lessi and his family have been amazing hosts, very attentive and accommodating. It's been a pleasure to spend a week at their accommodation, and I recommend it 200%.

It was all great!

Our stay was wonderful. Lessie was a very responsive and gracious host. He greeted us upon arrival and was so kind to have fresh coconut water ready for us. The apartment was sparkling clean and had everything you could need for a short or semi-long stay. It's best to have a car or some form of transportation if you stay here, but it really is a good location to get to all the sites in the area quickly. We enjoyed it very much!
