Too small room. Also, there was information that we could visit Aquarium and Wildlife Park free of charge, but in fact, it costs some money (with a discount).

It would have been great if the floor in the shower was “crooked”, so that the water naturally goes down the drain. I had to clean the floor off water after my showers. The scrambled eggs at breakfast had a weird smell. I don’t think they were bad, maybe there was some spice in it, I don’t know…just not a nice smell.

I liked that it didn’t have too many rooms, therefore it wasn’t crowded or noisy. I like the location a lot. The purpose of my stay was hiking in the area, therefore the location was perfect. The staff was very friendly, and I even got to check in early. The bed was very comfortable, and I really liked the fact that the tv had chrome cast (even though it didn’t work all the time). It’s a very nice and clean property. Great warm shower with nice pressure.

Interior decor standard very basic, aimed at seminar/education lodging. Main reception building closed from 19.00. Signs with emergency telephone numbers posted. Overall functionalist ambience: Conference and innovation campus with detached buildings, rooms under sloping roof in 4th floor. Check-in by a handsome member of that part of present Danish youth, that never acquired nor received training in a hospitality dialogue!

Water boiler w tea/coffee in room. Location near to Aqua science museum, woods, lakes and a public bathing facility in lake. A 25 minutes walk from the trains station is ok in a town without bus service and non-booked taxies. 15 minutes walk along the canal to Museum Jorn. Breakfast buffet with selected quality items, stoneware mugs, delicious fresh bread rolls, strawberry and berries jams, sausages +. (Access to buildings by key card).

A communication issue - whilst we enjoyed a high quality meal in the restaurant on the first evening of our stay there appeared to be no notification (other than on the website) that the restaurant would be closed on at least 2 further nights of our stay. Note to self: check with the front desk rather than presuming that the restaurant will be available to use during the full period of our stay.

The property is in a peaceful location next to the Aqua aquarium and wildlife centre. Parking is easy and free and the property is no more than a 30 minute walk from the centre of Silkeborg. The breakfast choices are varied and plentiful with empty dishes being constantly replenished.

The showerroom was a bit small, so the shower curtain will just stick at your skin after a short while.

No reception after 12 on Sunday, and it was not clear how I would get into the hotel when I arrived. I had to phone security, who explained that my room card was in an envelope. There was no restaurant, bar or cafe service on Sunday. Again, if I had known, I could have made arrangements.

Beautiful setting in nature, outside of town. Room was clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was good.

When checked in we got an upgrade and this room was very big ! The bathroom is spacious and it was all very clean. You can park your car next to the building. Breakfast is good not to much but enough

Outdated and run down place. Small room with the bare minimum you can expect. Breakfast is also reduced to what you would expect in a cheap place. No love to detail, no customer focus and an overall trip back to the early 90s. In addition: A scaffolding in front of my room with lively workers from 7am. A pleasant surprise when you get out of the shower. Complained about it and even got a call from the manager. Refund? Discount? Nope… Again? Never.

For us, the mattress on the bed was a bit hard, but it is a matter of personal preference.

Breakfast was satisfying: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cucumbers. We got a big room with a big bathroom with a nice bath tub in it. The hotel room was located in a quiet area. There is free access to the nearby Aqua and Animal park. There is possibility to eat at the hotel "Cafe Dråben" between 11:30-15:00 o'clock, nice food for a good price with organic and gluten free options.

The room was quite small but served its purpose.

Beautiful setting near a forest. Our room was small but well laid out. The bathroom was huge. Everything was very clean. We especially enjoyed breakfast.

Reception closed at 7pm and luckily we arrived just in time. No notice given. The restaurant was closed! Despite a message from the hotel telling me about the facilities, once I requested a table booking they informed me it was closed! I booked because it had a restaurant.

The person on reception was helpful in difficult circumstances. Had requested bike storage.

The only thing that could have made our experience better was having air conditioning. The rooms were very warm at night. We were grateful for the fans.

The rooms were spacious and nice. The location was wonderful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.
