The grounds and access around the cottages had no raised paths so after a night of rain it was necessary to walk through ankle deep water to get to the ablution facilities. A path from the central driveway running just in front of the cottages and at the same level as their paved entrances would eliminate this problem.

Next time I would like to have a cabin with a little bit more comfort (something with toilet in the same buiding). The information on the website was not clear enough to me at that point, I thought I would sleep in a building in a separate bedroom but with shared bathroom, like in a youth hostel. But this misunderstanding did not make my stay unpleasant.

The hiker's cabin of about 10m2 at the Thorsminde campsite was simple but practical decorated, comfortable enough for a good sleep. In another building you could cook, wash dishes and laundry, shower and go to the toilet. And eat your self-prepared meal. Everything was kept clean, also by the guests. At the reception there was a small shop where you could order fresh bread. There is a supermarket about 1 km from the campsite. I didn't go to the swimmingpool. The campsite borders the fjord. The small, rain-muddy grassy beach is used by kite surfers. It is a few minutes' drive or walk to the village, the harbour and the sea. Tips to do: Visit the interesting, well-documented stranding museum, drive to the Bovbjerg lighthouse and take a walk through the colourful flamingo nature park near Vemb (where there are no flamingos to be seen, by the way).

I don't like the fact that after rest you need to wash the floor and clean up. After all, each person has a different understanding of order and a desire to rest on vacation. But this place is not for everyone.

I liked the location, cleanliness, attitude of the owners. This is a good place for caravanners and those who like active recreation. The place is well prepared for a comfortable holiday with your caravan or tent. There is a playground for children. The shower was clean and warm, despite the fact that the temperature outside was only +8. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare food and wash dishes.

We like it all but maybe a small wish for the future. It would be more attractions for children please. Maybe some sort of animation on the rainy days?

Perfect for a short stay holiday/vacation. As a family of 3 we had always enough to do. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Most importantly we could communicate in English or German without a problem.

It is a simple yet very comfy stay in the beautiful Thorsminde, between the fjord and raging North sea. The cabin was clean and cozy, the staff helpful and friendly, location perfect to detach and be together with nature.

Need to provide more information on the booking page or direct message after booked. Actually we got onsite found nobody waiting for us and only a plastic bag with the key hanging on the door handle. And the WIFI isn't provide along with local cellular signal is very bad - which make things even worse. The front desk woman (or maybe the owner of the campus) is very hard to communicate, both at night or in the morning. Actually we only got a bed to sleep and no other service we feel from the campus. This definitely the worst night I've been in this travel (I've had other campus stay trust me. It's nothing like the night here) I really feel bad even after 2 weeks leaving Europe. Really bad experience, can't look back to this night here.

I dont' think I have any thing satisfied. Since everything just below my expectation. Only thing to be thankful is we luckily get inside the campus before 11pm and the gate close at 11pm (I'm not saying 11pm isn't good, but please let your booking customer know that 11pm will be the time you close the gate, a notice on the website or direct message would help a lot).
