We requested breakfast and dinner reservations for the stenbjerg Kro. We stayed there bc we had read the food was very good. However our host failed to let us know that we didn’t have dinner reservation so we showed up and we were turned away - we had to then scramble and drive 25-30 min to find another dinner option. Outdoor areas could’ve been much nicer. Broken lawn chairs and uncut grass and other than a cover picnic area, there were no plantings or attempt to create outside lounge or eating.

Location was ideal. Our room was good. Our daughter’s room was next to a crying toddler who had trouble settling in. Amenities were good. Restrooms were clean.

Jesper is a very good host. There is an open kitchen that can be used by the guests. The breakfast was very good as well as the lunch packages and dinner available on request. The place is very close to the beach where spectacular sunsets can be watched if the weather permits.

The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the North Sea. The common bathroom was clean and nicely decorated. The bathtub/sauna did not work, but the owner said he would repair it. The food was tasty.

Outside the building looked like a converted and here and there neglected barn. Outside life like dining outside was not encouraged as the two tables were placed under overhanging surfboards and bikes were placed against the fence beside them. Otherwise no seating area outside provided. Kitchen was also simple and looked outdated. Shared bathrooms. My room had the entrance in the small open kitchen. The two bathrooms could only be reached by crossing the kitchen and breakfast area which was very inconvenient.

If you like to go hiking, surfing or like beach life the location is super. Inside the building was clean and maintained. Proprietors very friendly and serving good food if requested.

The diningtable is too low for the chairs, so you cant sit comfortably.

This BnB is really clean and calm in the middle of amazing nature. Short walk to a beach. The BnB’s common area is really nice. We don’t usually stay in places where you would share a bathroom but here this was definitely okay since everything was so clean.

- Watch out when you book this BnB if you only want a private bathroom, because it doesn’t say “shared bathroom” in the big header of the room type. Only in the details shared bathroom is mentioned. - When we booked our stay the facilities showed optional breakfast on request for 20 DKK. When we requested this the owners suggested to go to Stenbjerg Kro Restaurant instead for 100 DKK. - Hairs in shower/hot tub.

So many lovely details! Very cosy and comfortable. Great location! Really the perfect spot to spend the night when you are biking the North Sea Cycle Route. Breakfast was amazing!

Specific for bedroom #4: as the entrance is through the kitchen, it can feel a bit cumbersome when several other patrons are cooking. And a bit loud when the hallway bathroom, kitchen or dishwasher is being used very late or very early.

The location is superb - close to the beach and a short walk/bike from tourist sights and town center. The hosts has really nailed the chill beach vibe, without being too much on the nose and stereotypical. Cool wall-art from local illustrates, photographers and artists adorn the walls of common areas and bedrooms. Feels like someone's home! Bedroom was comfortable, with mattresses possible to adjust to sitting position (!) for long, leasurly morning reading. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off salt and sand after a day out. Breakfast was absolutely worth the cost for shorter stays: tasty, and just enough. No sadness over food waste, yet also feeling properly full. Well-equipped kitchen (only missing a microwave oven), even with a honesty-system bar (beer, wine and soft drinks). Charging possibilities for electric cars a big, unexpected bonus.

It's good to be aware that bathrooms are shared with other guests

- Noise from common area. The rooms are right next to the common area, and the walls are thin. The other guests became our wakeup call. - Shared bathroom. When clicking on a room on Booking, it shows a picture of a bathroom, which is misleading and unusual from other listings. I didn't read the fine print (which is my own fault of course), so I was surprised to arrive and find a shared bathroom. It worked out ok though, but still took away part of the experience. - Price is a bit high for a "hostel+" experience. I saw that the price for their rooms dropped by around 40% on the day of our arrival, and those prices made more sense, but we didn't benefit from it, since we prepaid.

- Clean room and facilities. - The host was very nice. - Good area for walking and visiting the beach.

The B&B is at a very nice peaceful location, you can walkt to the nature parks and the beaches, klitmoller is just a view km’s away where you can find nice restaurants. The owners are really nice and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked really good. The place is very clean and you can take good coffee when you want.
