Just look at the pictures, trust me, all is there. It is very old house, after very good renovation, but it is still old and bit stark.

Great place to stay. Best hospitality you can imagine. All information given before arrival. It was just one night, but enough to recommend for family vacation, or short stay during a trip just to rest. View is breathtaking.

The apartments were clean and cozy, with plenty of beds. Woke up to beautiful sunrises each morning with the option of walking the beach. Just a few minutes from the center of Nyborg, there were plenty of food options nearby as well as museums and castles only a short drive away. Tables and kitchens stocked with dishes in each apartment allowed us to eat as a family when we did bring some things back instead of taking in the local restaurants.

Location was beautiful! The cottage was spacious and very comfortable. It was well stocked and Lara is a wonderful hostess. Lara and her husband are working tirelessly to bring this gem back to its original glory. It will be lovely.

Better curtains to block out the early morning sun would be great in the front bedroom but these were the best we had in Denmark as some places don't even provide any! More pillows would be good too.

Skaerven is a gorgeous property in a stunning location. I booked the main house and 2 apartments to celebrate a family event and we couldn't have been happier. The hosts were lovely and available. It is an older property with history and charm. read the reviews and do your own research. We were not disappointed! We knew sound could be an issue but did not find it affected our stay. Also no smells. Gorgeous, gorgeous place!

Although I understand why, its used, the plastic coated mattress protector meant sweaty nights,

The apartment was the perfect size for 3 of us (although it had 2 beds in one room so technically would have accommodated 4). Kitchen had enough facilities for cooking and the bathroom had a lovely heated floor.

The views from the appartment were incredible. It was big, very tidy and we felt very comfortable during all our stay. If we are back to Denmmark definetely we would love to stay there for longer time and see the wonderful sunrise every morning. Thank you for your warm welcome, we hope to see you soon.

The terrace is noisy because of the highway - but it's quiet inside the apartment and it is also great if you walk to the sea because the sound of the waves is louder than the vehicles on the bridge and the highway.

Unique location with a sea view and we were lucky not to have neighbors.

The location was great. We looked for a place to rest after a long week at Lalandia Billund and before going back to Copenhagen. It was great. Magical view, quite and calming.Lara, the owner, was wonderful and available for everything we needed.

This is such a beautiful charming house, on the beach, with view of the water from every window and Lara is definitely the most amazing host I have ever had the pleasure to meet. The location is just perfect, right on the beach. Even though it was fairly cold when we stayed in the apartment (November), in the morning we got out to enjoy the sunrise from the beach. However even from inside the apartment the view is great. The apartment is well equipped, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. My kids enjoyed the sandpit with toys right in front of the apartments. I was worried about the noise from the motorway which is nearby (I am fairly sensitive to noises), but I couldn't hear anything from the apartment, it was perfectly quiet. Lara is a caring and attentive host and a very nice person, we really enjoyed meeting her in person and talking to her. Thanks a lot for everything! We really hope to come back some time in summer to make the most of the proximity to the beach!
