Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere is no air conditioning which is 25 degree heat was unbearable when the windows only open 1 inch, we did get a fan when we asked the following day.
The locations is perfect, close to the Main Street and right next to the station which worked for our early start. The views from our room on the 7th floor were beautiful! Breakfast was lovely and the lady who checked us in was so happy and helpful!

Very kind and helpful staff. Comfortable, clean rooms. Good breakfast. Play area for kids in the lobby. Good central location. Earlier check in was available on request (only same day request)

BelgiumAt check-in, the agent at the counter asked whether I had a car or not, without clarifying why she asked. I told I didn't but that my colleague had. Subsequently, when that colleague checked in, he wasn't asked about his car. As a result, he did not register his car, parked in the parking lot in front of the hotel. The next day he received a parking ticket. While there are signs at the entrance (that we did not notice), I think the check-in agent should ALWAYS point out to EVERYONE that registration is needed.
