It could have been cleaner on arrival, but it was OK. You have to pay 800 DKK for cleaning at the end of the stay (or potentially clean yourself, if you agree with managers). The water in the hot tub smelled a little funky and couldn't be changed. Staff at check-in could be more customer focused and friendly.

Large house with four very large rooms with double beds (and two of them with extra single beds) and large common rooms. Nicely furnished and kitchen is well stocked. There is a mini-zoo right next to the house, with monkeys, kangaroos, parrots, etc. It was really fun for kids who got a special tour after the daily feeding by the very nice animal keeper. Would stay again if we are in the area with a large group. Waterslides in the pool at the campground are fun for large kids and adults!

That you have to pay for everything. The electricity is metered, the hot water in the showers is around 8kr/4mins. The swimming pool is also 30k/pass. Not bad actually, but we're just uninformed. Maybe I overlooked the advertisement and never got a chance to read it 🙂

The playground is good for families. We haven't tried the swimming pool because there was a storm.

The reception staff could let you feel a bit more welcome. You have to pay extra for the electricity and showers you use. (Very ecofriendly, so just good to know) The (new) camplet area was close to a quit busy road, and a quite far walk away from the central bathhouse and supermarket etc. There is a nice, smaller bathhouse closer by, by the pool, but thats also a walk away. But all are minor details, don’t let them whithold you. All in all it is a very modern, nice, well-arranged, professional campsite! Walking distance from the beach. With two nice, touristic towns just a short drive away.

We stayed in the Camplet. Which is a relatively small, but good already setup tent. The camplet was brand new, comfortable, had electricity, a light, 2 big comfortable beds (4 persons) pillows and warm blankets, 4 chairs and a table, and was good equipped with kitchen equipment. An extra canopy for outside sitting-space would be a welcome addition. (The other accomodaties/huts on the campsite looked very good and new also). The camplet had no running water, but a watertap is right next to the tent. The camping is nice and well-arranged, with nice, clean bathhouses. The supermarket is open from early till 23:00! Handy. Also a snackbar is on the campsite. As are central cooking and dishwashing facilities. And a nice playground. Last but not least: The kids loved the slides on the swimming pool!

uncomfortable bunk bed. no air in caravan. oven was disconnected, so had to wait a day to bake dinner- for 2 day stay, disappointing . no gas grills available at the property. no forks, spoons etc. at the guest house. vacuum without end attachment.

The tent we stayed in was old, worn down and dirty. We did not like the fact that they charge extra for everything (bed linen, cleaning, showers, the swimming pool, tap water in the restaurant etc), and felt this was undercommunicated when we made the booking. If you are considering booking one of their “glamping tents” - read the fine print!

Location was close to the ferry from Hirtshals, and the kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the playgrounds.
