How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I used this hotel for one night stays the last couple of years. Now I start to see wear of the rooms and lots of dust on the ceiling. A few stains on the carpet should have been removed.
Easy in and out check by sms.

When we wanted to extend our stay with one night we contacted the staff by phone to arrange this. Initially the payment link didn't work but this was swiftly resolved with a 2nd call.
Convenient for a stopover. Trapholt is an excellent art museum also engaging for kids. No staff at the hotel you check in with a code. It is basic as you can expect given the price.

The location is not close to the city centre, the hotel is meant for visitors / athletes of the sports center, though for a short stay it is adequate. Bunk beds with quite hard mattresses.
The hotel is good value for money with free parking.

I recently stayed and had a lovely experience overall. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, there were a couple of areas for improvement. The Wi-Fi connection was a bit slow at times, which made it challenging to work remotely. Additionally, the parking situation was not very convenient, especially during peak hours. Despite these minor issues, I still enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for its excellent service and cozy atmosphere!
I recently stayed at, and it was an incredible experience! The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect, close to major attractions and great dining options. I especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which offered a variety of delicious choices. I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

This is the second time I have used this accomodation I found it ideal, I was passing through only staying one night but would be happy to stay longer. I really liked having my own bathroom with excellent shower and toilet. Nicely located near motorways

I didn't spot in their confirmation email that I needed to log in and pay (I thought I'd paid via Booking.com), so I had no idea how to check in and there was no staff in the hotel when I arrived. It was all solved with one quick call though.
This hotel is terrific value. It's not fancy at all, but functional and clean.

Industrial area. The room was quite warm and couldn't really be cooled by opening the window. Stains on the molton sheet, but the bed sheets that covered it were clean. Nice-to-have at breakfast would have been plain yogurt (without flavor and sugar).
It had everything we needed for one night. The room is big. Nice breakfast (especially the scambled eggs and hashbrowns!). It was quiet during the night. We slept well.

minimal to no staff interaction. having to put bed sheets on myself and the fact that they threatened to fine you money if you didn’t.
no staff interaction. while touring EU on my motorbike I found this place decent for bike riders. decent price and I found a place to lock my bike to a lamp post. the fact that I had to put covers on my own bed for the price was discouraging. other than that the room was good size and close enough to Lidl for food.
