The check in process with text and code numbers works well (though I've had to make up my score for staff as I didn't really see any)! Second or third time I've stayed and will continue to be my go to place locally. The hotel is situated perfectly in the town centre yet parking is still easy. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast box good for a hotel which 'doesn't do breakfast'

No soundproofing. Luckily other hotel guests were quiet but seagulls weren't. Seagulls waked us up every morning about 5-6 am.

The smallest bathroom I ever met in a hotel. However, I don't comply - you don't come to this place to spent time in the bathroom.

Very friendly owner. It is allowed to buy food in the shop and eat it in the dining room. We didn't use this option, however, this option is rather unusual, and could be useful. Parking place was full, but we could park just at the front door for free.

There was a room mix up, so I had to call the staff, who were not onsite, to clarify the situation. But the staff was helpful, and fixed it.

Very comfortable room with big bed, good linens, kitchen with fridge. Central location great for walks in town, and to the surrounding beaches. Quiet at night, simple but very good boxed breakfast.

A bit confusing guidance regarding parking: the street in front of the hotel requires parking disc (only 1 hour free parking), but the message from the hotel implied totally free parking. Anyway there is a parking slot for the hotel if there's vacancies.

Great location in the middle of the city centre. Functional breakfast with plenty of salty and sweets (almost too much per breakfast box...) Easy check-in and check-out processes.

Don’t rely upon the breakfast box for anything more than some fuel to start the day - it’s not a healthy balanced diet.

It’s incredibly efficiently run - brilliant. Clean and tidy, everything works. Breakfast box was a pleasant surprise. Location is excellent. Parking is good. Room was comfortable.

There was a bit of a stale sweat smell in the room not sure why but this was a little unpleasant, otherwise this would have been a solid 9+ / 10

Easy check in and parking, though I note the automatic system did lack a personal feel it was very quick and probably saves on staff costs. The hotel is situated perfectly in the town center. The breakfast box was amazing for a hotel which doesn't supply breakfast! The room was large and comfortable. I come to Hvide Sande fairly regularly and would not hesitate to use this hotel again.

The room was very nicely decorated, big and the bed was comfy. Very nice athmosphere in the hotel and the staff were lovely. They don't offer breakfast but they do offer breakfast boxes that you can eat in the nice breakfast room or take away with you to the beach, for example. The location is close to the beach and there are nice restaurants just around the corner.

My biggest concern with this (seemingly forgotten) hotel is safety. The door to the hotel was wide open, even late. This gives access not only to the full hotel, but also to the breakfast room, which serves also as a facility for guests to help themselves to one (or many) free glass(es) of wine in the evening. With the door open, anyone from the street has access to this facility. When we arrived someone had evidently had a "party" in there, leaving not only a lot of rubbish, but also an empty bottle of Jack Daniels. At the automatic check in you're supposed to enter your booking code to receive your key(s). I our case, a "helpful" employee had already issued two keys, and put them in an envelope with my name on it. However, we were three (3) in our party, so how do I know (with the entrance wide open) that that three (3) cards had not been issued, with the missing one now in the pocket of a burglar? Second issue is cleanliness. The layers of dust are thick, and not even the board announcing the (absent) staff is kept clean. Third is staff. Because no one was available to tidy up the mess in the breakfast room I called the night porter, but he had no wish whatsoever to do anything about the situation.

The room was really warm and the air was pretty bad inside. The breakfast was really disappointing as it was quite weird and left us hungry. We were also disappointed for the coffee. Pretty expensive for the quality you get. The hotel felt more of a hostel than a hotel.

Location was great and the check-in and check-out was suoer easy and fast. Nice surprise that there was some beverages available for free for the customers.
