I happened to be there on one of the hottest weeks, and there is no air conditioning. The fan in the room was helpful, but if you are sensitive to heat, it could be uncomfortable.

Location was excellent, the hotel is comfortable and has a boutique feel to it, even though it is quite large. The courtyard is charming and the room was small but clean and quiet. I appreciated their sustainability policies.

The shower.. water went everywhere with no door to close and it was difficult to get hot water one afternoon for a hot shower.

The staff are AMAZING.. loved happy hour! The location which was by the lake and away from the crowds yet still close enough to walk to everything. We also loved the various courtyards or lounges that you could sit, relax and find some quiet time.

Amazing hotel with a real community feel. The 5pm Hygge wine hour is a great idea for getting all the guests together and sharing stories. We stayed in one of the new rooms which was immaculate and very comfortable though quite warm even when it wasn't too hot outside - I can imagine them being over hot in a heat wave. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The location of the Kong Arthur is perfect for walking around and seeing the sights. The staff is incredible. They are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and make each guest feel special.

There are two flights of stairs at the front entrance before you reach reception. Buffet breakfast was expensive.

The only thing that was slightly negative for us was the price of the breakfast against the limited choices on offer each morning. That being said this did not impact our stay!

This is a beautiful hotel in a really good location from which to explore Copenhagen. Though the hotel seems quite far out, all the main sites are walkable from the hotel and it was lovely to come back to a slightly quieter spot after a busy day! We didn't use them but the hotel does offer bikes to hire for the day if you prefer this to walking. We opted for a superior double room which was huge! The room and bathroom were well equipped, clean and comfortable. We spent 4 nights at this hotel and would highly recommend it!

The whole building was uncomfortably warm. Weather was 27°C/80°F in Copenhagen. Incorrect charges on my account on checkout. Easily resolved by staff. Impossible to roll luggage into the front entrance. Lots of steps, no ramp

Servicing of the room was done late in the afternoon and had to ask for this to happen at times - we stayed 5 nights. Quite expensive.

The feel of the hotel was very relaxed and informal but the staff were still very helpful and effecient. Loved the drinks in the afternoon and found this was a good way to have a chat with other guests. Lovely room in an excellent location, close to the centre of town but also to the waterway nearby and other interesting suburbs.

140cm beds. When the rooms are big enough to have a 160cm. This is not up to the standard of the hotel.

Best hotel I’ve ever been. It’s a very special family feeling, ultimate kindness and joy of all the staff, breakfast is AMAZING, thank you so much Mamoona for your warmth and smile each morning, the delicious homemade food, the possibility to have a one hour Yoga hour with Iris to start your day, bikes to rent to discover the city. In one word: perfect. Without forgetting the hotel small city guide with the best adres and trips!
