Kids' bed had slightly squeaky springs. Lack of mixer taps in bathroom sink / shower.

Big comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Plenty of common seating areas also with free tea and coffee. Fridge and kitchen available for use. Superb breakfast (at small extra cost). All spotlessly clean, with a stylish Scandinavian feel, which somehow harmoniously blended a modern industrial and traditional farming look.

The only thing that potentially can confuse - shared bathroom. But it's very clean and absolutely ok when such kind people live around.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, exceptional surrounding forest, well organized outdoor zones. Deers getting to the area to get some food, which is absolutely amazing thing for kids.

Would have liked a better description on Booking dot com. The rooms vary a lot and because of that it is a little difficult to know exactly what you are getting. And eg whether rooms are adjacent or on same floor or whatever. One of the rooms we booked said it could sleep two adults and a child. But in fact it could only sleep two adults (unless the child was under one). My husband and I didnt want to share a bathroom, those days are gone. So we booked a big room. Daughter and family didnt mind sharing. But our grandaughter was too old to sleep in their bedroom, so ended up in ours one night. Our bedroom had a balcony, which was great, but the sides weren’t fully blocked, so a potential danger to very young children. Of course we are English so maybe it is a bit clearer in Danish, not sure. When our 5yr old granddaughter slept in our room i was worried she might wake up and go out of the bedroom door. Or worse, the balcony door. She liked the balcony. But as well as the open sides, (railings but no infill), there were some steep stairs down to the garden. We hadnt fully realised. Booking dot com didnt let you select precisely which room you wanted, just the type. But within each type there are some key differences.

Quirky, peaceful, deer and chickens roaming, lovely garden, very good breakfast. Good free to use coffee machines. Other drinks available at shop prices. Amenities were good. Lots of communal areas. Airy and clean. Tasteful decor. Very restful ambience. We were probably a bit too noisy compared to Mette’s regular guests. I had a great sleep there the first night (without the grandchild sharing - i was worried she might leave the room if she woke up.

Very quiet and cosy spot… beautiful huge garden with deers standing there. Very good equipped kitchen and coffee machines with free tee and coffee and chocolate. Each room is different and beautiful.

My particular room was a shared bathroom package, but for the cost, I honestly can't complain.

The staff, the food, the bed practically took me to heaven and back. It was honestly one of the best nights sleep I've had on this tour. If you're a biker running through this particular area, I would definitely consider this place.

lovely atmosphere! very clean, Mette was super friendly and everything just works. Just a short drive away from Vejle or Fredericia and in nearby Børkop there are supermarkets. And even some beaches on the Vejlefjord. highly recommended!

I wish we could stay more

The house was really beautiful - cosy and tastefully furnished rooms, scandianvian style with a feel of real home :) Everything was perfect, the kitchen fully equipped, a lot of tables and dining rooms. Lovely garden with small lake, pheasants and roe deers.

There was no-one present to receive us ( though we got clear instructions how to find and enter our room). We tried to order breakfast via message through booking app, but that message was overlooked so better order timely or call directly.

Comfortable room with a very nice view on the garden where deer and pheasants walk around. Good location, easy reachability and near town where restaurants can be found.
