NetherlandsLocation is great, in the center of Hirtshals with a view of the ferry terminal and the harbor. There was some confusion as we arranged the stay some 15 minutes in advance, but that was cleared up quickly. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom good. Parking in front of the hotel and free for guests (need a ticket from the hotel).

very handy for ferry near train station (easily walkable) but ferry is quite a walk large room / suite interesting view of harbour lots of supermarkets nearby. restaurant opposite did good nachos! we'd have liked more time to explore Hirtshals

Sweden- No fridge in the room. The staff was however kind enough to let us keep our stuff in their fridge at the front desk. - A kettle with tea/coffee in the room would've been nice. - No fan or AC in the room for hot and sunny days. - No blackout curtains. - The room was in need of some maintenance (a bit worn, stains on rug, broken mirror in bathroom) but nothing overly disturbing.
We had a great stay at this hotel that we had booked for three nights for a family mini-vacation. The very nice and friendly owner even gave us a room upgrade for free, which we were very happy about! We got a large and spacious room in the newer building (Hotel Seafront) that had a balcony, two king size beds - one for the parents, and one for the kid, and a gorgeous view over the sea and harbour. The breakfast was good too - regular scandinavian with fresh bread every morning, veggies, eggs, tea, coffee, yoghurt etc. Nothing to complain about there. The hotel is located close to the beach, train station, town centre and other points of interest, such as the Hirtshals Lighthouse.

Very simple room but sufficient for one night for next day morning ferry. We have a family room and room is big. Nice view out of window and easy to park just outside of the hotel. Breakfast is included and it is really good :) This is the highlight. Room facilities are out of date but it is ok for a short stay. There are not many choices in Hirtshals.
