We didn't like the night show of the local mosquitos in our cottage, but I guess they were not on staff of the camp! :-) Other than that I would recommend the owner to get rid of the shop that is not open anyway and use the space to provide the customers with a bigger area for cooking (electric cattles, microwaves...etc). I don't think people really need hot-plates in their cottages.

We really liked Mr. Mikkelsen's helpful and friendly attitude! We booked a small cottage for 4 persons, but it can only work for 3 adults or 4 persons of a smaller body types. The top bed of the bunker bed has quite a limited space. The bigger cottage would be our choice if we wanted to stay longer. The place is low-key and unabashed.

The price on the website is just for land. You need to have your own tent, but the ad is for a house with rooms, amenities, etc. They are fooling people. I do not recommend this place to stay.

They have false information on the Booking website with pictures of the house and rooms. This is a scam and demand money for a real number.

The cooking facilities could be updated a little, but overall it was adequate. It would-be nice to have a strainer for pasta and rice for example and a better hotplate.

Our cottage was a bit too retro but still nice. Everything worked and sleep was nice. Balcony could use some renovation. Was too wobbly. Couldn't sit and eat there 😂

Our hut was ridiculously small and especially the beds were tiny. We didn't expect much, it was a relatively cheap place but sleeping on the upper bunk bed was simply dangerous - it was extremely narrow, no barrier, I was afraid to fall down in my sleep. And the system of making a "double bed" from two benches and a table - well, it kind of worked but it definitely was far from convenient. Another thing: no electric kettles anywhere. We found a kettle in the kitchen and we had an electric cooker in the cottage but it was old and slooow, so making tea required patience, so to say. Last but not least - you have to pay extra for the showers (for hot water actually). I think this system sucks but OK, I can live with it,. However, I can't see such information anywhere on the site so it was another unpleasant surprise.

Very good location - near the campsite there is a lovely park, generally very nice. Close to the bus, not far from the shops. In a better cottage it might be a pleasant place to stay.

For cooking, only a double portable hotplate in the kitchen, no microwave oven, nor a regular one, no toaster, so no toast in the morning. We ate out at restaurants the whole week. There was no extra chair in the cottage the only seating available are the benches on each side of the kitchen table and 3 plastic chairs outside. There is not a proper shower in the bathroom, only handheld shower head which could not be attached higher than a metre from the floor. Only one bunkbed, no other beds, the rest were mattresses on the floor in the attic.

Egon Mikkelsen is nice, kind and very helpful. The kids playgrounds are fine.
