Booking description contradicts itself, we expected private bathroom but it was shared, menu was very very limited and quite expensive

Little to expensive for old room, same price you can stay in centrum in Stavanger or Bergen in 4 star hotell...

Arrived at late evening, owner put key in key box and called me and guided me to the room. Breskfast was good for me😊😊

When you use the family room in the garden, don't park under the big tree in front of the building .... :-)

We stayed in family room in a separate building in the garden. The room was big enough for us, with separate beds (nice) en clean. Bathroom was clean. We arrived around 8pm and unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked, luckily staff advised to an Italian restaurant close by. Breakfast was fine

Carpet was clean but worn out. The doors slam shut, so once people started leaving in the morning there was no hope of sleeping.

Nice quiet location. Restaurant onsite for dinner (we didn’t eat there) and bread buffet had hot and cold options.

Nothing. Simple honest hospitality. No frills but no spills. Great.

Quirky and old fashioned in the best possible way. Didn’t start auspiciously as we waited at the reception desk while the person/owner(?) chatted with a friend on the phone and we had just driven nearly 500 miles to get there and we’re on our last legs. However, we had a lovely spacious and simple room with a nice view over the gardens, a traditional and plain home cooked Danish meal with all the older residents in the chandelier festooned dining room, a charming Ukrainian waitress who neither spoke Danish nor English but who excelled at attitude and smiles, etc comfortable beds, a great breakfast and a sense that we had been part of a family secret. We loved it, for all its rough edges!

It was over 1km from centre of town. Some of the staff were offhand although others were very helpful. Only a single menu offered for evening meal, although price was good.

It was a pleasant room. Clean bathroom with large bath as well as a shower.

The breakfast had a poor selection, the room was dated and could be done with a bit of modernisation, shower was leaking and dripping. Mattress on the bed was extremely thin

While we were told that they for the evening only had a set meny to eat from, when we came to te restaurant the staff seemed confused. When we finally got some food, it was fine, but not worth the price. Also, during our whole dinner, not one staff member came to ask if we wanted something to drink, and seemed to avoid us, while other guests got both water, drinks, and a friendly welcome. Also the rooms where very loud, you could hear the other guests when they where in the corridor or then the where in their own bathrooms.

We had 2 mains and some soup and it came to £70. Absolutely shocking price for very basic food and tiny potions. Do not eat there if you can help it. Wish we’d have taken pack lunch

Our room was used as storage for conferees furniture. Staff was starting the washing machine at 24, some other guests turned it of. We had paid in advanced through booking. The staff could not find that and were unwilling to help and unwilling to find a solution. I talked to booking two days after and they solved the problem in 20 minutes, verry good. The problem was that the hotel did not know the routines when customers pay in advance. I have probably stayed at over 100 different hotels through booking in the last five years. This was my worst experience.

Old building with thin old doors and no air circulation.

It’s a nice house, but the doors are very thin, and therefore we could hear everyone speaking late at night.
