The basement children’s playroom had a slightly dusty smell. It wasn’t very clear whether we needed to order and pay extra for bed linen and towels. Also, when using the hand wash basin, the water made a loud noise as it flowed into the sewer line.

The area is peaceful, and late check-in after reception hours was very smooth thanks to the clear instructions. Parking was available right in front of the house. The swimming pool was great and very child-friendly.

Closeness to nature means mosquitos. Because of that it wasn’t possible to sleep with an open window.

Fantastic location in the first row to the harbor. Easy check-in / communication past opening hours. Nice dinner buffet offered at the restaurant. Excellent swimming pool and wellness, where kids are allowed early in the day - this worked perfect for our family.

"The biggest spa resort" in Denmark probably refers to the amount of cottages, because the spa itself is not big (according the Dutch standards at least). It's covered, swimming clothes are obligatory, +- 4 dry saunas, Turkish saunas, jacuzzi each. The swimming pool is also not large. On a cloudy weekend the spa was full of children and noisy. Fungus on the wall of one of the bedroom (didn't capture it on the picture) , where the bed was also shabbier, as well as the balcony. No bathroom necessities or dishwasher tabs, etc. It could be the norm in such holiday parks, but we were stumbled by the list of what you have to clean up before leave otherwise you'll be fined. At least we didn't need to wash the windows! It states, among other things, that the dishwasher must be emptied and kitchenware put in place. I therefore washed the breakfast kitchenware by hand, no big deal, but if I were there with a family it would have been too much. Had to pay EUR20 for the electricity and water we have (supposedly) used during a 2,5 day stay :S The receptionist could add a smile to her attitude.

The WLAN was down every now and then. But this is not a problem for people of my generation who read books :-) Basically, nothing to complain about.

It was our third visit at Römö ressorts. As always, we enjoyed it very much. The flats are very nice and cosy, the landscape is beautiful. The indoor swimming pool is clean and always big fun for the kids. The nearby opportunitites for walking the dog are great.

The toilet/bathroom smelt quite a bit like a men’s bathroom and quite a few spiderwebs around (for children not the greatest as they were a little uneasy about spiders crawling on them in the night)

Bed were not very confortable, the restaurant is awfully expensive.

Big and nice apartment, well decorated with à full kitchen. The spa accept children, and is amazing, the swimming pool is big enough, playgrounds for children.

I just wish they would make it clear what is already in the house or not specially when it comes to kitchen stuff so you are prepared what to get with you or not, also mentioning that bedding and towels are clearly not included as little disclaimer in the end might be missed. Yet they have answered those questions when messaged

We rented 3 houses to stay there as we had our civil marriage in Ribe near by and wanted to get something to gather the families together. Everyone was happy with the place, it was clean and location is nice! Lots of things were provided for the kitchen, bed covers and so you pay for if you want or you bring yours. Also read many bad reviews about the electricity consumption so we were worried but it was a fair price for three houses I would say.

Some of the self-catering aspects were confusing, especially the sheets and towels. Be careful that you need to either bring your own or rent some from the resort. However, the rented sheets will not necessarily fit the beds! Basically you get one single non-fitted sheet and one single duvet cover (and two towels) per pack which doesn't really make sense for a double bed. There are no fitted sheets available. Our apartment was not that clean when we arrived either. The bedding (pillows, duvets and bed covers looked quite old and as though they hadn't been cleaned in some time). The floors were so dirty that the bottoms of my feet were grey by the time I finished unpacking. The toilet smelled quite bad as well, but at least there were cleaning supplies for us to solve that problem. Other areas were fine. It's definitely a place where you want to bring ALL your own bedding.

The accommodation is spacious and is generally well-equipped with dishes, kitchen accessories, washing machine, dishwasher, drying racks, board games etc. The facilities are great, especially the playgrounds with large inflatable trampolines that all kids seem to love. The pool is nice and a comfortable temperature for cold days. Checking in and out was easy. It's a nice location, and gives you easy access to some good beaches and not a long drive if you want to visit Ribe or take a tour with the Warden Sea Centre.
