The beautiful view ! This was my second stay here- I wasn’t expecting a room with a view this time and it was such a lovely surprise

No bin in the room (not even in the bathroom) which was a bit inconvenient. Would’ve been more reassuring to have secure luggage storage.

Nice well maintained spacious rooms and exceptionally clean communal areas. Really loved the breakfast. Unexpected sports hall and kids lego table. We had a lovely city view.

The Room was a bit small and early in the morning you can hear some noisy guests but these are the only two minor points.

Very helpful staff. Christian helped us with detailed instructions for a late check-in when we called to tell him about our delay due to traffic obstructions. Everything went smooth. The room was clean, the hostel has many leisure facilities, it's perfectly situated, close to the center of Ribe and the breakfast is simply outstanding! What a choice and what a quality and freshness. Many high class hotels don't reach this breakfast level. Thanks so much!!

Access was not easy due to works on the street to reach the place and not Well indicated

Free parking with 2 spots for Motorcycles . Very close to center but extremely quiet and peaceful place. Very relaxing.

Bunker beds. The room is very-very basic. Once the beds are open, there is not much air left. Our room was on the ground floor and I did not feel safe to leave the windows open. Linen and towels are extra.

A great location: just across the river from the centre of Ribe - a 5 min's walk. There is plenty of parking nearby. In the hostel, you get a clean room for your money with kitchen facilities. We were lucky to have a view of the city. Like a postcard!

No lift and the shower was in poor condition. It was fixed to the wall and most of the holes were blocked. It needed attention and de-scaling (room 115).

Nice size room with an entrance area before entering bedroom. We had a nice view to the city across the river like a framed picture on the wall. Great location as it is just 8-10 min walk outside the main city centre yet it feels secluded. Clean and simple set up.

The room was very dated, stale smell, bed was tiny and uncomfortable. Bathroom was very basic and the shower quite temperamental with the ability to scald. I put this in context of how much the room costs per night and how very popular the hostel is. With that amount of money coming in I expect better upkeep. Breakfast was good, all the right things, just a little congested around the serving island.

Be aware that if you don’t have a car, you essentially have to bike to the Wadden Sea Centre because there is no transit and taxis (apparently) aren’t willing to come from Esbjerg often. Not sure if I missed the memo on having to pay for sheet rentals, but that was unexpected. The shower, like many Danish hostel showers, does a good job of spraying outside onto the rest of the bathroom.

Breakfast had lots of good Danish options, tea, coffee, and juices. As North Americans we missed a toaster since we’re not used to untoasted bread for breakfast. Bike rental was easy and reasonably priced. Great location for getting to town. Staff were super friendly and helpful! The hostel was clean, quiet, and comfortable!

Rooms - We didn't realize that it is a hostel that offers private rooms. Rooms are very basic, you have to rent or bring your own linen and towel. Rooms had foul smell, which you will get used to after sometime. I'd certainly recommend this place if you are used to / can sleep in bunk beds.

1. Location 2. Staff 3. Breakfast 4. Parking 5. Kitchen Ribe turned out to be a very cozy town where you'd want to spend a week at minimum. The hotel is nicely located near a canal and has a route to city's main street. The staff was understanding. Their breakfast is very good especially breads.
