Bathroom could do with an extra towel. Not a fan of plastic plants in rooms: they just look sad. (Even when clean, as this one was.)

Welcoming staff and very helpful about chance of late arrival. On site restaurant food (and wine) was very good - more like a 4/5 star hotel offer. Service friendly and hospitable despite a big event in the next room. Well done for that. Excellent shower in room with good water pressure. (Bathroom has 70s ish brown tiles and it’s true to the photos online.)

I wished there was a mini fridge to store my drinks in.

The hotel is at a nice and quite place, with a beautiful garden that I enjoyed. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a view of the garden.

Despite the big premise, all the rooms are clustered in one hall. The walls are very thin, so you can hear noises from all the rooms around. The beds are too soft.

Breakfast was good with homemade bread, crackers and jams. The gardens around the hotel are pleasant and well-kept.

Everything we needed was available Breakfast was a cold buffet with reasonable choice. Staff were quick to restock items as consumed. The restaurant was good although being a weekend staff were struggling to meet demand.

The room felt a little sparse, but that was perfect for our brief stay.

The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. Conveniently located near Camp Adventure and a grocery store. The hotel was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious!

The rooms are freshly renovated, especially the bathrooms were a really nice surprise. The breakfast was solid good. The Hotel was quite nicely decorated and everything seems to fit in that theme. It was a very nice stay for us.

There were no bedside tables- which was a bit awkward.

The receptionists were very sweet. The room was very clean and the window opened onto trees and birdsong. The breakfast buffet was excellent and portions were served in attractive, individual, reusable glass jars with glass lids. Well done on the sustainability front.

Small “issue” - tea kitchen was a bit further away from our room in another building but that’s minor inconvenience.

Lovely hotel that met our needs and expectations. Very friendly and helpful staff. Something went wrong at the booking so by mistake the room was made up for one. It was very quickly corrected. Nice breakfast with delicious homemade chocolate spread. It felt a bit special to have a table set up and “reserved” for us.
