Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesPretty old building that needs an update. Rooms facing the tracks are very noisy as trains go by all night and the windows are not soundproof. They even give you earplugs for sleeping Bathrooms are clean but old. Only shower is in the tub that is almost impossible to get into as there are no grab bars. Very difficult for an older person and slippery
Good location next to Central Station Nice bar.

TaiwanNext to the train station, the noise is un-avoidable. Nevertheless, there was a bad smell appeared in the middle of the night at the room out of nowhere. I have to put my mask on and open the window/door to the balcony. Still, it happened again, it is terrible that I woke up because of the smell. The next morning, elevator stopped working. The staff has to help me to take the luggage down from 4th floor.
Location is good and the building is full of ancient luxury style. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They greet me with full elegancy and I appreciate all the support.

FinlandI was on the first floor which faces the train station and there was alot of noise and I'm not used to the city sounds. The hotel provided earplugs which was really convenient though.
Location, location, location & nice rooms, very friendly staff and the breakfast! The coffee was excellent and they also provided hot milk with the coffee.

I stayed at this hotel located right outside Copenhagen Central Station, with Tivoli Gardens and the Food Hall just across the street. The location is unbeatable right at the hub of public transportation and a perfect base for exploring Copenhagen. The hotel itself is older but beautifully decorated, with lots of charm. My room had all the necessary amenities and a nice-sized balcony, which I really appreciated. While the room could benefit from some upgrades, it was comfortable. The bathroom had everything I needed, with consistent hot and cold water (though the water pressure could be stronger). Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to start the day. What stood out most was the staff, they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel combines a prime location with friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. A great choice for travelers wanting convenience and warmth in the heart of Copenhagen.

United KingdomBed was a bit soft but comfortable enough.
We arrived early and Brig on reception let us check in which was brilliant and was helpful through our stay. The restaurant staff and library bar staff were helpful friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable could be a bit noisy as next to train station but fine for us. Hotel provided ear plugs but we didn’t need them. Location was great it was in the centre and close to everything. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Lovely relaxed atmosphere in hotel

United KingdomIt is a little rough round the edges, dated old world charm. The beautiful ceiling light fitting in our room hasn’t seen a duster for a very long time…
Central location right next to Copenhagen Central Station, walking distance to many attractions/restaurants. Good pre arrival communication trying to accommodate room preferences etc.

United Arab Emirates- Located just in front of Tivoli and next to train station. Came straight from airport via train and it was a mere 2 min walk to hotel - Most touristy places in close proximity by walking - Room was lovely, comfortable and really enjoyed the little balcony.

ThailandIt felt the building was a little shaking when train passing. The lift was quite slow. Breakfast lacked variety.
The location is great, just opposite of central train station. Easy to get around. The room size is decent, enough space for luggage. There is air conditioner so we could sleep well. The staff who checked us in was so friendly, he even got to our room to help us out with the switch issue.
