We had a few options ( cheaper) to choose from in Fyn. We only selected this hotel as it was one of the few with a restaurant. We arrived there and the reception lady said that no, we could not have dinner as we needed to have booked the dinner. We could not cancel the booking as per the policy. And had to drive after checking in to look for restaurant places ... after a full day of driving it was not good. I mean there was a chef ...but anyway now we know

1. The hotel advertised online that "pet is allowed." We were surprised when we arrived, and the staff in the check-in counter told us that pet is usually not allowed in the hotel (or atleast we should informed them before our arrival, that we had pet with us) We had an 8 months old little puppy with us. We paid extra for our dog. 2. The staff during our check-in seems to be grumpy. We don't like the way she's communicating with us, she has a harsh behavior, not comforting to the guests who's exhausted from a very long travel. 3. Cleaning staff is just directly opening the door without even knocking the door first. It's quit uncomfortable.

The place is quiet. I like the garden view from the room. The restaurant is nice too. You have a view from the highway. Parking space is available and not far from your room. Some staff in the restaurant are so nice and accommodating.

Noise from the corridor but nothing major, I would stay again. The WIFI was strong enough but insecure. Why do hotels use these third party systems. Oddly there was a secure staff WIFI, not for guests though. The bathroom is of the wet room type, the floor gets very wet well beyond the shower.

It was good to see pictures in the corridors of this motel of the old building, Kro means an Inn. This is conveniently located a few kilometres from Odense and made a good touring base for me for the island of Fyn/Funen. Breakfast was fine, not especially local, just a standard continental breakfast, good selection of breads though. My single room was quite small but comfortable enough, as in so many hotels, reasonable sound insulation from the other rooms, not from the corridor. I did have dinner there twice, the portion the first time was huge, the second time I had the daily special which suited me better and was good value.

the friendliness of the receptionist, the restaurant staff and the cleaning staff! Everything was exceptionally clean and the location for traveling further at the edge of Odene was very good! the motel idea for the kro was clever and unexpected.

My husband wasn’t overly happy with his bed!

Breakfast was great! It had all I wanted, plus a whole lot more! Coffee was hot and fresh! I enjoyed the orange juice too! The seating area in our room was very comfortable! My husband complained a little about a sore back after his sleep but I was fine in my bed! All in all it was great! We are presently at our 3rd B&B during our holiday stay and our sofa at this place is not comfortable! Therefore, your B&B ranks the top during our 11 day stay in Denmark! That says a lot because I am a critical person! I also don’t hold back the truth when asked a question! I’m not sure if that is because I’m Danish born and my expectations are higher, I think so! ( I believe Danes are more critical than most people in this world. We tend to be fussy! Anyways, it was truly a lovely stay! Top marks!

Motellike. Always here when in Odense and have been here many times. Free parking, sufficient breakfast buffet. Room /bathroom seemed to be newly renovated compared to other rooms i have been previously.

Staff really didn’t like to spend time in the reception. Had to wait forever for people who never showed up.

Decent in every way. Worn but clean. Perfect for an overnight stop driving through Scandinavia. Nice food in the restaurant.

Lack of a proper wall outlet in the room. Reception is almost never around so asking questions and checking in or out is very difficult unless you wander around the building looking for staff to assist.

Shower was broken off so had to be hand held. But I told the staff and they said that they would fix it. Also the hall way carries sound - if you are a light sleeper it may be annoying.

It's a motel, more than a hotel. Small bed, small room, but comfi enough. Very friendly staff, who brought me my dinner (traveling with dog, who of course couldn't go in the restaurant and I don't like leaving her alone in new places)

There was no hair dryer or a shampoo/shower gel in the room; the heating didn't seem to work (maybe I did something wrong); there was only one electricity socket located in strange place The choice on breakfast was very limited and the food on the plates was not added to often, so you needed to eat what is left

Asphalted driveway and parking would be preferable to stones.

Very pleased we chose this hotel as stopping point on our travels - good facilities and parking suited our need for security for motorbike - staff were accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was adequate for our Aussie needs.

Live love love the place Clean fresh rooms I've stayed in just about every room here been staying here for years now every month for around 8-10 yrs seen the work mark has put into updating the rooms I've stayed in the updated rooms they are just amazing for what's meant to be a motel it really feels more like a hotel mark , pia ,mette and all the staff here are just the most welcoming friendly people has a hotel feel with a personal touch that makes every stay truly an absolute pleasure! I know it may sound like I'm just bigging these guys up because I stay a lot but I think I've only ever given 1 of these reviews and these guys really do deserve every 5* rating they get 💙
