Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomCheaper breakfast. Later shuttle bus.
We didn't take the breakfast; it was a lot more expensive than the bakery/coffee house in town.

SloveniaToo expensive breakfast for child who eats only bread and marmalade (breakfast for 13 yo charged as for adult).
Good breakfast for adults, price 25 EUR per person. Good location even for walk to nearby airport and Legoland Park.

GermanyA bit tight if you need a third bed for a small child, but one can manage.
Surprisingly quiet and cozy for an "Airport" Hotel, with good bus connections into Billund and surrounding cities. Excellent food.

MozambiqueI didnt like the fact that I asked twice if I could check in early and they said yes over email, but, upon arriv at 4.30am with two children, we had to sleep at the lobby until 7am in the morning.

United KingdomAs other people have mentioned, a kettle in the room would be a wonderful addition, although we fully understand it is not a necessity.
Location was great. We loved being a little out of town and walking into the centre each morning, although I appreciate this wouldn't be preferable for everyone. The room was also larger than I anticipated from the photographs, which was a bonus.

RomaniaIf you plan on walking around Billund, it's not the best location. It's about 30 minutes walking to Legoland (and Lalandia), and another 20-30 to Lego House. They do have a bike / walking path all the way, though. Also, note the free shuttle bus starts at 9, so if your plane arrives early (ours did), you either need to take a local bus, or walk (like we did). Or rent a bike. On the other hand, if your hotel is in town, you'd have to carry your luggage with you. The children beds can feel a bit short for taller kids (I would say above 1m50).
5 minutes walk from the airport, but also seems well insulated, since we couldn't hear noise from the planes coming in or taking off. There is a free shuttle in July and August taking you to Legoland, Lalandia etc. They have a kids room with plenty of board games. They have decent food, I think, and you can order by scanning a QR code. I also liked that they have bikes to rent. The room was OK. Also liked that check-in starts at 14 (other options were starting at 15 or 16, very late when you woke up at 3 for your flight). The shuttle bus stops right next to the hotel.

United KingdomThe room was a little small for four of us, and there was no kettle provided. While the shower room itself was spacious, the shower head was broken and water sprayed out of the side, so this definitely needs fixing.
For an airport hotel, this was pretty much what you would expect. The room was a little on the small side for three of us, but the bunk bed design above the main bed was clever and worked well. The beds themselves were comfortable and did the job for a short stay. The food was on the pricey side and just okay, but the staff were friendly and the reception service was fine. We appreciated being able to store our luggage after checkout, which is expected at an airport hotel but still useful. There was no kettle in the room, though the bar and seating area were comfortable and a nice place to relax.

Swedenthe staffs are a bit rude, asking questions seems not welcome. Also disappointed with the long waiting time for food in the restaurant other than that all is good.
The location and free shuttle bus around the city plus accessibility. Price is also reasonable for families than staying in an expensive legoland hotels. Starbucks coffee with pastries, they also have some mini market to buy chips, biscuits, sunblock, candies, shampoo, etc so this is a plus, they also have a resturant at reasonable price. Comfortable hotel rooms, small but you got all you need for a good stay. kids also love watching the planes take off while playing football.
