The hotel may not be brand new, but it’s far better than some comments suggest. While a few small details show its age, everything is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and perfectly proper. The overall experience is very comfortable and pleasant.

My stay was even better than I expected. The facilities are excellent, the location is outstanding, and the staff is truly wonderful. You have direct access to the lake and the park, while the city center is just a short walk away. A perfect balance of nature and convenience.

- the eating utensils are not properly washed/cleaned. - the shower setup in the bathroom. - spider 🕷️🕸️ in the room due to the season. They will hide slowly when they see humans in the room. Well, so far it is okay.

Poor cleaning of the room. No air conditioning, only a small portable cooling fan. Safety box didn’t work in the room. Luggage room was kept unlocked and without proper supervision. The was no refridgerator in the room. Sheets were only changed every 5th day.

The breakfast was great. The gym was good and the spa, although small, was nice. Comfortable beds.

Lack of a/c, room was very warm to sleep in. Salonen restaurant service: they closed the cashier without asking us if we’d still like to have ie dessert and only payment option was to put it on room.

The bed was rather small for 2 people. Shower & sink we’re in the same area, if you had a shower & went to use just the sink after the floor was wet.

Hotel is located next to the beautiful lake.  Every morning we had this beautiful and peaceful view during breakfast.  It's very comfortable to walk along the lake before or after breakfast; basically anytime of the day. Lovely breakfast every morning with enough choices of food and drink. We had one time a 2 courses dinner at the restaurant. Food quality is good!  However the service could have been better. The waiter did what he needed to do in general but there was not even one smile (actually he looked quite grumpy) throughout the time. It didn't feel very welcoming for customers. On the contrary, the reception staff (we came across 3 different staff) were all friendly and helpful. Wellness area with jacuzzi, stream, sauna and a small indoor pool is a great place to relax. There's also a gym which we did not use. We also love the cozy sitting area (with big windows viewing the lake) just out of the restaurant or one level above. We appreciate the eco concept which is no housekeeping service or change of towels every day provided that you request by the reception. After 2 nights (we stayed for 4 nights) we requested housekeeping cleaning. The room was tidy up but the bedsheets were not changed and toilet papers were not refilled. This part is the minus point to us. Overall, we had a pleasant stay there. Hotel is comfortable and close to a nice golf course. Would like to stay there again if we visit Viborg or closeby area again.

The wellness area is a bit small, can be packed throughout the weekend. The breakfast has a variety of foods, but not really suitable for vegetarian/vegan diet.

The only issue we had is that the wifi was very unreliable and the internet access ports in the rooms did not work. This seems very strange from a business hotel though the staff just explained that this is the way it is. Unfortunately it wasn’t possible to do online meetings or calls using the hotels WiFi. If they fix this,I would give a perfect 10.

The location by the lake was ideal for visiting Viborg. The spa bath, sauna & pool were open until 22:00 in the evening which was great to unwind after work. The breakfast was also good.
