The bed was comfortable, and staying in a place with the atmosphere of a local Danish home was a unique experience.

However, being on the ground floor with no curtains meant that whenever other apartment guests came into the garden, our privacy was exposed. In addition, the bathroom was located in the basement, which was inconvenient and concerning as it felt unsafe for the children when they needed to use the toilet or shower.

Beautiful old house steeped in character. Great location 10 minutes from town. Perfectly suited for a family of four.

The stairs to the bathroom are a bit arduous. Not a problem but may be difficult for less capable.

Fairly large apartment located on the ground floor with good kitchen facilities (well equipped). Very good for 3 people. Older house but very clean. Floor craks in some areas. Keys system worked fine. Nice gesture From the owner: 3 small coke bottles and 3 chips. well appreciated.

Bathroom is in the basement with a sharp angle staircase. Not easy to handle when you need to go in the middle of the night. Parking is not private but is on the street in a residential quiet area

The apartment is in a charming old house in a very nice part of the city. The city centre is only a short 10- minute walk through a lovely park and there is a tram stop five minutes away from the apartment. The kitchen is very well equipped and linen and towels are provided. The highlight would have to be the beautiful garden. There are also supermarkets in walking distance from the apartment and one of the best sushi places in the city. The owner was very quick to contact us and send us the details. I really appreciated it as many other places send you the details only one day before arrival. I like to be organized before I travel. We really enjoyed our stay in Odense.

The bathroom is in the cellar and is a cold and there wasn’t a heater. It wasn’t really a problem for us as it the weather was warm but it would be too cold in winter.

Great location, everything is walking distance away. The apartment has everything you need for a stay, the kitchen is well equipped, plenty of board games and the garden is beatiful. Even the parking option becomes very handy if you are traveling with a car.

The house is a bit old - the floor creaks, the smell etc. The biggest minus (especially with kids) is the fact that the bathroom is located at the basement, and you need to climb complicated non standard stairs up and down very carefully. For travelers with no kids it might not be a problem, but for us it was a bit dangerous.

    Location. Character. Comfort. Facilities

One thing to be very careful of is the stairs down to the bathroom. They are positioned in the landing between the kitchen and bedroom. Very easy to fall down these stairs if you don't look at the floor.

Fantastic place in a great location for visiting Odense. Garden to hang out in and playground right next door. Great for us and our 9 year old son. Just need to flag that if you have low mobility or very small children there is a gap and steep stairs down to the bathroom so be careful if that applies to you.

Very central (5-10 minute walk from the center) but also in a very quiet and cute neighborhood.

No real complaints but have in mind that it's an old building so it might take time to warm up once you turn on the heating. Also the bathroom is at the basement and the staircase is quite steep.

There was no breakfast. But the host graciously left some beer and chips which was a nice surprise. The location was superb. Loved the playground right outside.

The light going down to the bathroom kept turning on all night- i think it may have been responding to our movement on the bed?

I liked the cozy style of the place, there is a lot of space and there is a cute green house.

Property was quaint/cozy and location was relatively convenient.

Window blinds did not block street lights. Cobwebs and dust in all corners of rooms. Bathroom shower was badly mildewed. Bath towels were extremely rough. No hand towels provided. Bathroom staircase incredibly treacherous— even for the able-bodied.

We have booked City House last minute because the original room we reserved in Odense had a technical issue and couldn’t host us. Everything happen for a reason and actually we were so lucky!!! :) We got an answer immediately from the host, the apartment was ready and clean. The key left in the safety box and a park ticket is available if you come by car! The house is nice and cozy and the area is very quiet. In few minutes by walk you can reach the city center.
