The habour is a working habour and smells some days of fish- hence its impossible to get old fish for dinner!

A traditional house, centered in the village, modernised into safe spacious appartments accessible over a steady wide external staircase. We were lucky to have the top and could overlook the entire village.

One bedroom doesn't have any window so it can get bit hot. But manageable. You need to buy EXTRA toilet papers and no bathsoap (but handsoap was provided)

Perfect location. It is close to all nice restaurants and supermarkets. Also, apartment is equipped with everything you need for a short stay.

The location, rooms and cleaning were excellent. Just outside the door we could find restaurants, shopp and galleriets. We have been in Skagen before, but this was the best stay we ever had.

We had to share the stair hall with the restaurant, constant smell of food. Same small came into the bed room during the day from the back yard. Not a big problem but something we noticed

Shower doesn’t drain properly- Needs door/curtain/other to prevent water going everywhere Looks great - not functional. Easy fix.

The placement is both good and bad. We were placed very central but that entailed too much noise from the bars when the windows were open. It was too hot to sleep with them closed. I wasn't able to change the room temperature for some reason. When we arrived the bathroom smelled very bad but it got better as we used it but still didn't go away completely. That was a bit sad in such a nice apartment.

Our apartment was right above the restaurant and bar areas, very noisy into the early hours. Strangely no toaster, also had to pay extra for linen and towels. Some apartments had sitting out areas/furniture but ours did not although there was a communal area on ground level.

One bedroom was very hot and when we rang for help the person in the end of the phone was not very helpful. She said just open some windows but told us the window in the bedroom that was affected was not able to be opened. Opening the windows did not solve the problem. in the end we were able to open the window in the room and it was only by doing that that we were able to sleep in otherwise what would’ve been a very hot room. I mean a room that was at least 25, 26 or 27°. We had asked what would we do if the room didn’t cool down and the person had responded “it will.” After I booked the accommodation I did send a couple of communications to the place asking them what size the beds were in order for us to work out what size sheets to take. Both times I just got an automated email saying we will get back to you 48 hours before our arrival date. In the end they never told us the size of sheets. One of us actually brought the wrong size. Another email I asked to check that we had booked for two bedrooms and I never got a response to that one. So overall communication was shocking but overall the place was a lovely place to stay.

It had a few issues, the shower in the main bathroom didnt drain properly and left the wet room floor very very wet! The cooker only had one shelf, so not great for cooking more than one item in the oven. The temperature for the heating was very warm and there were no instructions to lower it, making it uncomfortably warm at night when trying to sleep.

The location, and the size were both good.

The beds were not comfortable and the super central location has a downside in the party week 29, where it’s gets VERY NOISY all night til morning.

We had to pay an extra for linens and towels although this had not been specified at booking. It was too late for us to change our plans. The communication wit the host has been quite difficult. The host fnally accepted to redeem half of the amount which we did not consider as satifactory. Another point is the noise, two nights in a row we were woken up by screams and shoutings of partygoers in the midle of the night, traffic noise is also very audible

So called “deluxe” apartment has a deluxe price but not deluxe service and facilities: we had to pay for linen separately which didn’t fit the size of the bed and make our own beds Small details are very lacking: lighting in bed room is missing, mirror in bathroom of in front of the sink, no sockets to charge the phone. cheapest IKEA pillows which are uncomfortable etc. apartment was lacking light and can be noisy due to its location
