The bedrooms needed updating particularly the en suite bathrooms.

It was old and quaint with many interesting features. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good.

The hotel has a lot of character especially in the entry area and dining area where you can appreciate the half timber construction. The room was simple but spacious and comfortable. The area around the hotel is pleasant for walking. In the winter there were not a lot of dining options. But, the place we walked to was absolutely terrific. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and generous. The tiny spaces beside the hotel are not hotel parking. Parking is in a large lot behind the hotel next to a creek.

We liked the interior and the nicely retro touches! Beds were a bit squeaky, and not extremely comfy, just OK.

Great location and right by a hiking path, super friendly staff and quaint interior. Impressive selection of local produce in the bar.

Consider Treis rather than Cochem for overnight stay

Everything worked for us - happy.

Location in Treis was good with nice terrace to enjoy "stubies". They provided space in their garage for some of our motorbikes, Dinner was around the corner at Hotel Weinhaus. As a stopover on our motorcycle tour from Landeck Austria to Rotterdam, this was ideal.

I liked the classical vibe of the apartments. It look me few years back which I loved to experience to be honest. Besides, the breakfast area is decorated with memories and musical instruments from the past.

I liked the flexibility from the owner. I arrived two hours late because of train problems. She trusted me and waited patiently. And they are also chilled and friendly.

The common areas of the inn smelled somewhat of cigarette smoke, but the rooms, themselves, did not and were comfortable and charming.

The ambiance was great — we loved the old interior. The free parking was convenient and easy. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Charming older property in an attractive small village on the river, a warm and helpful welcome and a glorious sunny terrace out the back to enjoy a local Riesling. Yes the decor is not contemporary but my room was large and very comfortable. Yes there is a railway line between the inn and the river but I rather liked that. Good food and easy parking. Highly recommended

What a fantastic property, loads of memorabilia from when the owner had a recording studio. the owner was so helpful and even booked a restaurant down the road for us. great breakfast and plenty of choice. They even took the car out of the garage so we could park our motorbikes in it over night.

In the hotel there are signs everywhere that smoking is not allowed, but the host smokes in their office with the door open. So you can smell it throughout the hallways. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, don't go here.

The host was very friendly and eager to help. Fast service, flexible. Big selection for breakfast. The host pointed out that there are multiple options for dinner in the village, since they only had a small selection available from the kitchen during my stay. The flammkuchen were good.

Middle age building loaded with character and atmosphere, all info about the area, complimentary water bottle, large comfy room and toilet (loved the spacious shower), large parking space. Great breakfast, a pity the restaurant was closed, cute pub and beer garden. Recommended if you enjoy authentic places and people.

Everything was great! The Inn-keepers are wonderful people. Very accommodating. We were 6 adults arriving late in the evening (very tired) and all the restaurants in town were closed or closing. The Inn-keeper called one of the restaurants and asked if it could stay open for us (it could). The restaurant turned out to be great as well! The rooms were very comfortable. The Weinstube had a very cozy and fun atmosphere. Very affordable too. Would definitely stay there again!
