Friendly family run hotel, great location and very clean with a high quality breakfast. Centrally located in easy walking distance from the old town. No bar however use of a communal room were guest met up and shared their experience's sampling local wines in a relaxed atmosphere.

We needed a fan in our room because it was very hot. The glass in The bathroom was see through and we felt a bit uncomfortable about privacy.

The staff were excellent, good bike parking, away from the touristy traffic but close enough to get amongst it. The breakfast was spectacular.

I know that it’s difficult to install them, but it was a shame that there was no lift.

Our rooms were very good with views of the river. Rooms on lower floors might not have had similar views.

The bedroom was very warm, a fan in the bedroom would help a lot.

The owners of the hotel were so lovely and welcoming, it was obvious that they put a lot of love into their business. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable and location was superb. The breakfast was also excellent!

Fans were provided and we had the windows open, yet the room was still warm in the summer heat.

Parking was farer than expected.

Everything! The hotel is on the other side of the river - highly accessible to the city center. Staff was nice and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely.

top service van Sebastian at the reception, We couldn't arrive at the time the hotel was open but after a phonecall he send us a what's app message with the information where we could find the key and pictures from the parking and our guest house. We found it without any problems thanks to his kind information

The only thing that doesn’t score the hotel a 10 is the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room, or even add them to the honesty bar downstairs. However in the morning the hosts did let us take coffee upstairs while we got ready and the restaurant was full with a big party. But a hot drink the night before would have been good and nowhere obvious nearby to get a take-away coffee.

Wonderful hosts - nothing too much trouble. Room was lovely. Bed, pillows and bedding super comfy. Room was a good size - plenty of space. Shower was excellent and had basic toiletries (hand wash / shower gel). Location is good. Breakfast was a good quality and plenty of selection. They have a bagel selection which looked great which you can have even if you’re not a guest but we didn’t have time for one. Self-service ‘honesty bar’ was a nice touch. Parking is covered by a permit - good note is to drop bags off when you arrive to get the permit and then go and park otherwise there might be a a bit of a walk to get back to the hotel. The hotel did go above and beyond to help us with our parking - thank you for that :-) This was probably the best hotel we stayed in during our road trip. Cochem is also lovely and well worth a visit.

We love this hotel, it’s our second time staying here. We like the location as just situated across the bridge for easy access into town. Family run hotel which offers a lovely personal touch. Bathroom in our room this time had been tastefully updated. Breakfast offers lots of choice including English breakfast tea.

This was one our favourite hotels (or maybe our favourite?!) on a 6-week tour through Europe. Our 2 rooms were on the top floor with amazing views across to the castle and town, wonderful balcony, super comfy beds and all the facilities we wanted and needed. The hotel itself has fabulous from the outside but it is really always the service that matters most - and all the staff were really wonderful! Oh - and an AMAZING breakfast with real espresso coffee! Perfecto!!

This hotel is in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Motorcycle parking in the garage just a short walk away was 12euro.

AC would have been good as we were in the middle of a heatwave in the area. A good fan was provided which did help a bit.

Excellent stay on day one of our motorcycle tour. Check in was fast ,friendly and efficient. secure indoor parking was provided also.Hotel was spotless and bed comfortable. Ample choice at breakfast. Location was just across the bridge from the main town and a couple of restaurants within 1 minute walk. Would 100% stay here agiain.

not much to dislike. If its a European heatwave then the hotel doesn't have air-con - but few hotels in the region do. We were comfortable with the balcony door open and got a good nights sleep.

Great location on the other side of the river from the main town - its a 2/3 minute, very scenic walk across the bridge to the main centre. Hotel is comfortable with welcoming staff. the room was a good size with a nice balcony. The trust-based mini-bar is a great idea and the breakfast was superb. Bonus points from me - i was travelling by motorcycle and they saved me a space in the lockable garage for the bike - thank you!

Great place to stay in Cochem with secure garage for motorcycles available. Good sized room with a balcony and river views. Breakfast good value and plentiful.
