The location of the hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the central station and 15 minutes walk to the city center. Other than the on-site restaurant, there aren't any other restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

The reason I selected Dorint Wurzburg is the AC. It seems most hotels in this area don't have AC. The hotel location is a bit away from the city center and the central train station, which is about a 15 minutes walk. But it's located in a quiet neighborhood. Roon is renovated, clean, and good size.

The quality of the hotel is high. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean. The hotel is a bit far from the old city center, but we could go there by public transportation easily.

The parking situation was a bit troublesome. Parkhouse next to hotel was very narrow so we had to park in a public parking house which meant a bit of a walk.

The extremely comfortable beds. The nice two person couch. The excellent buffet supper and then, the next morning, the superb breakfast. The nice bar for coffee after dinner. Very friendly and helpful housekeeping staff.

The bathroom was very smelly when we first arrived and in the mornings, we assume because of a sewing problem. One of the receptionists (the other ones were great) showed a very strange, unprofessional, and uncalled for contempt and indolence when we tried to get our invoice (it was solved in the end, but it took half an hour of arguing). Wifi was great for emails but lagged during online meetings.

Breakfast was superb. The location was about 10-15 minutes walk to the center but in a very quiet area perfect for night resting even with the windows wide open.

Parking charge for motorcycle was a bit much. I should have checked before I agreed. I assumed it would be less so not their fault but just be aware.

Good location, not far to walk into centre. They had underground parking. I had a motorcycle. It was secure parking but quite expensive for 1 night (I think 18 or even 24 euros?). If I went again I would just park bike nearby as fee was a bit excessive for motorcycle. The bar and restaraunt at the hotel was nice to have. My room was great, very clean, modern, everything worked as it should and bed was very comfortable. I don’t know Würzburg but it was perfect for a one night stop-over and I was able to walk into the old city and enjoy the beauty.

Finding the elevator from the underground parking was difficult, not marked well. Location was just ok.

Our view was of the inner courtyard so nothing to look at so to speak, but perhaps for this reason we found it to be incredibly quiet. No fridge which would have been really helpful for keeping drinks chilled in the hot weather. Would have preferred milk sachets to powder and more black tea! We chose the option to not have the room cleaned (environmental initiative) but it doesn't make sense that you then don't get clean mugs or a restock of supplies.

We chose it because it had parking (although there is a daily charge). We booked a standard room which was a decent size. The bed (king size) was very comfy and so we slept very well. The bathroom is a decent size with large walk in shower and toiletries provided. The hotel has a nice bar and lovely outside terrace. Staff all speak English and were pleasant and helpful.
