During summer the restaurant has tables outside under the bedroom window. So it was easy to have some noise (not so much) until 22.30h - 23h

Hotel is located in the old part of Garmisch city. It's built in a typical bavarian wooden house. Room was big and confortable with the view in the main street of the village. Breakfast was very complete with a big choise of products. The hotel has also a big restaurant where you eat delicious food

In the morning (05:00am) of Church Bell's starting and noise -willed youth in the neighboring rooms in the morning. Breakfast is quite simple.

We were actually all around happy with everything. The beds weren't to our liking but that's our problem and nothing the hotel can really change. The matraces were very soft and the bed low. So besides that the stay was wonderful.

I really liked the atmosphere there and how friendly everyone was. The rooms were clean and we had a wonderful view. The food at the restaurant was very good and breakfast was also great.

This was a traditional German inn. Our room was well furnished in typical painted pine furniture. The on- suite was clean. There was no air conditioning. The breakfast was excellent and we also dined there. The food was true Bavarian and excellent.

The loud noice from the guests at the restaurant, there is no AC so you‘ll have to open the windows especially in summer. So, you‘ll hear the guests downstairs that are drinking alcohol and having fun, i would also like to join them as well but we are on a vacation and we want wo wake up early and visit the near attractions like Partnachklamm, Zugspitze and Eibsee. We had a hard time falling asleep. For the other room, it was a different noice, the bell of the church. It was ringing twice every hour, every 45 minutes of the hour and when it hits the hour. It‘ll go for like 5 minutes and doesn’t stop, whole day, even in the sleeping hours.

The location is really nice, the food at the restaurant as well. We booked 2 rooms, one with a toilet and the other without. We just used the bathroom of our other room and not the sharing bathroom, so i can‘t say how it is with the sharing bathroom. The rooms are spacious and clean, there‘s a 3 in 1 shampoo, handwash and bodywash. If you need you specific shampoo and conditioner bring it with you, i left the place with super dry and frizzy hair. There was also no toothbrush and toothpaste available, but we brought our own anyways. Don’t think of this place as an Hotel! It is not. Staffs were super nice and accommodating, with check in you need to go to the restaurant and look for someone. We waited at the door for like 5 minutes so don’t make that mistake haha. We really loved the bfast, since we were 4 Women we couldn’t finish it at all and it was such a waste to throw it away so we asked if we could pack it with us and they said yes ofcourse. If you can’t have a bfast they will pack you a bag for you to bring.

It was easy to find this accommodation due to the location. Weldenfelser Hof is located at the center of the histrical street of Partenkirchen. Main train station is 15 minutes by walk. Rathaus bus stop is a few minutes away. They provide a guest card and it gives free ride of city busses. The owner and his staffs are very nice people. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The room I stayed was a simple but spotless clean. Some of the furnitures were tradditional. I could enjoy a window view too. I reccomend anybody who has a interst of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

The guesthouse is really comfortable and clean. It was great value. The restaurant downstairs has really good food but do not make noise in the room. Breakfast was very good. I would definitely come back the next time I visit Garmisch-Partenkirchen

The only thing which disturbed me was the music from the restaurant: it was very loud in my room. Probably, it is better on the second floor, but my room was just above the restaurant. However, the music was always over around 22-23, so, I slept very well.

I loved the Bavarian vibe of the hotel. Surprisingly, I even got a better room than asked, probably, because the hotel was half empty. The breakfast was really good and varied. The room was clean and I had a very good stay there. The location is amazing: right in the centre of the nice old city part and close to the hiking trails. Very quiet when there's no music in the restaurant.

There is no hand soap in the room (despite there being a sink), and the soap dispenser in the shared bathroom is not working. Problems with hot water - not sure if it is hotel fault, but it was close to impossible to take a shower when water randomly turns ice cold. No welcome chocolate was offered despite it being mentioned on the booking page.

Impressive breakfast, nice hallway interior (extra plus for funny picture on 1st floor) and comfy bed.

Note the 15min walk to the station. Bells every 15min. No hot food for breakfast.
