I was travelling for work and arrived far later than expected but received such a wonderful welcome from the landlady herself! This makes ALL the difference! Room modern, comfortable, spotless, breakfast excellent!! Very highly recommended!!

No aircon but the stay was fine without it .

The food! If not staying for the hotel you have to try the food. Its a family owned business, they were very friendly and attentive. Once settled in you realise its actually a really nice little hotel. The food was outstanding, one of the best places in Europe for sure it was such good cooking! you have to try the Schnitzel and kaiser- scharrn? For desert it was soo good. The rooms were clean and comfy and after food I felt settle there. It had a good vibe. It was really nice watching the boats pass by whilst sitting outside during our meal. They have their own wine which is a must try, very tasty!

When hot an airco of some sorts would be nice. Further the curtains are on the short side, it doesnt strech from left to right. Lots of light comes it early morning

The location is spectacular and the hotel a wonderful find. Parking is easy. The menu is basic, German, and well cooked to order. This is a quiet spot but the restaurant is always full.

The cutest most welcoming family run hotel. Cristina and family were so gracious. The room was comfortable. Dinner at the hotel was excellent and our food was delicious. Breakfast buffet was delicious as well. Parking right in front of the hotel. Great location. Highly recommend.

The toilet being in plain sight of the rest of the room is a taste I have yet to acquire.

Friendly reception and a pleasant stay on our stopover at Weinhaus Fries. We enjoyed a good meal in the evening and the breakfast was fantastic too!

We loved Weinhaus Fries! A beautiful location, great food, lovely terrace and very comfy beds. Christina was a great host too. Highly recommended. It really cheered us up as a stopover after a long drive.

Everything. I have stayed here several times now, but always out of season. The parking is good as is the food. Comfortable, clean and with a superb location just across the road from the river.

There isn’t a lot else in the town if you’re staying multiple nights, but lots to see and do along the river if you have a car.

Lovely and modern. A comfy bed, powerful shower and the towels smelt great! Lovely outdoor terrace for drinks and dinner, which included a choice of schnitzels, and all the wine including ones we brought home were amazing. Breakfast was very tasty with a good continental choice, and freshly made bacon and eggs. There’s plenty of parking on the road outside, but we could park out motorbikes in the secure yard round the back.

The rooms are a bit on the small side, but that is expected with a historical building.

The bathroom didn't have a door . Bathroom and bedroom is one room. I really haven't noticed this in the photos , so when I saw it I got a bit disappointed.

Be careful because the WC and bathroom are straight in the room and very clear. No privacy. It might not suit everyone.
