During the summer it would be good to have any sort of air conditioning as it becomes difficult to sleep at night. Also, because we had to have the windows open, we heard some people shouting outside. It happened during all nights I was there

There are enough bathrooms for everyone and the bed was pretty okay. You can have a locker for free and a towel for a small fee which is still very convenient. Location is good, close to a lot of cafes and public transport.

Only one thing I find a pity is that the lobby closes at 18.00u. And there is nowhere else to go and chill outside of the room.

The location wasn’t the best as it was a little far from the touristy places but wasn’t too hard to get public transport. I didn’t feel the safest as a solo female traveler and would have also liked some curtains in the room for privacy.

You definitely get what you pay for here, I found the rooms to be pretty ok, the beds are actually quite comfortable and the shower and toilet facilities were clean.

The room itself is not that comfortable in terms of space or place to hide your stuff (for a 3 person room - 3 small lockers that can't be closed).

The showers are very nice: clean and spacious. The atmosphere is lovely, and if you're looking for an affordable place to stay for a couple of nights in a good location, this is definitely the place for you. The backyard lounge is very cozy and comfortable, and the staff are very kind and friendly. I arrived late and the instructions on how to access the room were very clear.

I think the bed squeaks too much. Just slight movement and you can hear and feel everything. There’s also no curtains to give you any privacy in your own bed. No bathroom amenities.

The location was amazing. So close to the tram and so safe (coming from a female solo traveller) but i don’t party so i’m not sure how it is when it’s very late at night. Bed is comfy with weighted blanket. Plenty of bathrooms and pretty clean. They gave me free upgrade to the only lady room which was so nice.

The only downside was that the cleanliness wasn’t perfect — the space could be a bit cleaner — but honestly, nothing too serious or that affected my stay. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it, especially for solo female travelers!

I had a great stay at Wallyard Hostel! I’m a solo female traveler from Brazil, and from the moment I arrived, I felt very welcomed. The receptionist was incredibly kind and attentive. I had originally booked a mixed dorm, but since I was going to be the only woman, the staff proactively offered to move me to a shared room with other girls — at no extra cost. They even made the effort to group me with other Latina travelers, which made communication and the overall experience much easier and more comfortable. I stayed in a room with four other girls and shared a bathroom, and it was all very smooth. Safety-wise, the area might seem a bit sketchy at first just because it’s not very well lit, but I actually felt super safe, even walking around at night. It’s a calm neighborhood and really well located — close to public transportation and within walking distance of lots of places.

I think guests should be clearly informed that they are renting a bed, not an entire room, and that they are expected to maintain proper hygiene. Moreover, the bathroom on the floor should not have a lockable door—one of the hostel guests was constantly locking himself in, even though the space includes multiple stalls. The lack of padlocks for the lockers is another downside. Additionally, the common area closes far too early.

I have stayed at different hostels which, for the same price range, had a kitchen so guests that stay for longer (I stayed for a week) are able to cook their own food.

The bathroom gets quite wet as there is just a shower curtain. Also would be nice to have a separate shower from the toilet. The curtains on the windows did not fully close

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful, provided lots of recommendations for our visit! Nice rooms. Coffee and ice cream available in the lobby. Great location to access public transport or walk around the area to restaurants and parks. Towels and linen provided.

There's no such thing which i dislike. Its a great place to stay for solo travelers or students visiting Berlin on budget. Very hassle free.

I really liked the setup and the facilities it was a great value for money and it is at walking distance from all stops and major attractions or you can just hop onbto the tram or train available at the end of the street. Very helpful. Staff was extremely helpful and very great in discussing with multiple topics. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at WALLYARD. Definitely a solid recommendation for all and i would be staying again here for my next Berlin trip for sure.

As a solo traveller it was really hard to meet other people since the hostel lobby area closes at 6pm, if you find yourself in this situation head into the main area & book a bar crawl!

Toilet is pretty small for such amount od people. WC Right next to the showers and mirror/sink is not very comfortable if someone is there already. The lockers require a lock, that you can rent free from reception, but firstly.you need to be aware of that - luckily i asked and was given one.

The room was clean, the stuff was really nice, they gave advices about what to see in the city and which route to take. Main touristic spots are just a few tram stops away, so location is pretty good. Also we could leave our things in lockers till 17:30 for free, so I would totally come back to this place for another saty in Berlin.
