Nothing to complain about. Maybe some better smelling liquid soap would have been better.

Everything was perfect. We had a nice stay in this location, close to the forests and with amazing view from our room. The biggest surprise was the peacock that was walking around as an attraction and he was so gentle and friendly not to wake us up early. It was a lovely experience. The breakfast was nice, the staff was friendly and everything was very clean.

The room allocated at first had a foul smell, although the room was immediately changed once we informed about this at the reception. The breakfast charge for a 6 month old baby was something I did not expect, not seen at any hotel. Having to pay for coffee at breakfast since we asked for it 5 mins after official breakfast time, not the best of hospitality considerations.

Excellent location. Good restaurant with authentic food. Staff was very friendly. We were extremely happy how the breakfast table was pre designed to our needs with the baby chair. ++ 2 car charging stations make it convenient for electric riders.

Not a thing. Only that we didn't have time to stay longer!

Loved that this was literally out in the forest. Such an idyllic place. Was particularly appreciative that even though we booked at the very last minute, they provided us gluten free rolls for breakfast after we asked the night before if they could accomodate when we checked in. They were so kind to make sure they had some for us the next morning. Was very impressed and appreciative!

The beds are quite hard

Lovely setting, decorated in alpine style. The restaurant is really good, make sure to check it out. Kind staff who accommodated our wishes for our toddler very well. Close to Rothenburg. There even is a little playground for kids.

Minor issues only: Many rooms up quite some steps. Bathroom ventilation quite noisy (but shuts off some minutes after the light is switched off). No AC (had been a very hot day, opening windows at night a concern due to mosquitos). Some of the parking spaces a bit far from the building. To us none of these were major concerns, we really liked our stay overall!

A gem of a hotel set in the woods. All the staff made us feel very welcome. It has a real Bavarian feel to it with lots of wood and interesting items on show. There are lots of great walks in the woods to keep you amused. The resident peacocks were great. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The food in the restaurant was superb.

The rooms are a bit outdated, being in a building which has probably hundreds of years. There was no fridge in the room.

The location in the middle of the woods is great and the garden is peaceful and beautiful. The owners and personnel are very friendly, there is nice atmosphere in the restaurant, we enjoyed the decorations but as well the traditional food. There are lot of walking and cycling paths in the area, it seems like a good place to rest and recharge your battery.

There was no aircon in the rooms and since it was a very hot night this was a bit inconvenient but having the windows opened helped. A few mosquitos got in but nothing too bad. Definitely not a deal breaker. The worst thing about the room was the level difference between the bathroom and the bedroom which we stabbed our toes on several times. A smoother change (like an angled threshold) would be a good idea. Pretty painful the way it was. Again, not a deal breaker.

We brought a dog and the walking around the hotel was excellent with a massive nature reserve surrounding the hotel. The dog was welcome everywhere in the hotel which was nice. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening and the food was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent and the service super. Last time we stopped on our way home we stayed in Rothenburg ob der Tauber town, but next time we will stay here and just take a trip into town instead. This place is a little gem and the local village is very pretty.
