We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomTo make it perfect 1. Air con in the room 2. Better lighting as was very dark even with all the lights on 3. The app is clever and with all good intentions, but it was difficult to understand what it meant - did we pay for tea and coffee or could we help ourselves, how do you get into the main hotel to get the drinks from the “honesty fridge”. How do you book a breakfast.
The room was beautifully decorated and the hotel was lovely and well maintained. As we needed dog friendly we had to change rooms after booking, however the room we had been swapped to had no air-conditioning (which was on our list of must haves) on the plus side, there was a little garden to take the dog in. Even though the weather was pretty awful, the room was still quite stuffy. We messaged to request breakfast and a fan for the next day, but didn’t get a response so we asked in the morning. We didn’t get to use the pool, but also we are not sure where it actually was! We didn’t meet any of the staff other than a nice lady that helped us get breakfast in the morning (beautifully cooked but expensive for what suited the UK palette!)

SwitzerlandThe renovation of the rooms is invasive and does not respect the character of the manor house. A more respectful intervention would have made the experience better.
Very nice old country manor house, in the heart of the Weinstraße. We were touring by bike and it is easily reachable if you stop to see for example Frankweiler. The breakfast is amazing, very rich and well prepared. Definitely worth a stay.

Breakfast was amazing (fresh waffles, bacon, vegan options and a really really good coffee). Rooms were really neat and I loved how every room had a different concept. Staff was so nice too. We felt really welcome and can’t wait to come back.
