This is an old property in a pretty good locations. Short walk to restaurants etc. very clean. Old fashioned furnishings are quaint but just missing a few convenience like coffee making etc. (there is a fridge.) Breakfast was excellent. We had a comfortable stay and could really same much negative, it just felt they could do some small things to improve the overall experience.

Great view from the room and the balcony. Included breakfast even had freshly prepared fried eggs and Bavarian options. The place has an old fashioned feel but is well kept and clean.

The only thing I was not happy with is that our rooms were not close together, not even on the same floor as I had requested and I was given no apology or reason for this. It is also a fair distance away from the train station if you have luggage.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were lovely and the views over the town were exceptional. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice. My only complaint was that mine and my Son's rooms were on different floors when I had asked for them to be close together. I would certainly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again when we return to the town. Thank you.

The parking situation is weird. There are open spaces in a parking lot (by a grocery store) in front of the hotel, but they are very limited. Other parking is found down the road a bit in parking garages, which means you must walk from the parking garage to the hotel, luggage and all. The indoor pool is cute but in the middle of June, it was cold. There isn't any air conditioning which is typical ofGermann hotels, however, we were on the third floor and it was very hot and humid. Even with the metal window rolladens, it was still hot and bugs were still getting in. Luckily our family was able to put up with it but it wasn't ideal for our toddler. We wanted to enjoy some activities within the town. The hotel previously offered free tickets for our stay so we could use local transportation. When we asked about them the man at the front desk said they were unavailable because the system was down.

The view from the room and dining area was astounding. The backdrop of a cute mountain town was perfect for my husband's birthday trip to Berchtesgaden! There was so much to do in the surrounding area and the hotel felt older but very cozy! They even provided a fruit and champagne tray free of charge on my husband's birthday morning!

There’s no elevator and we have to carry our luggage upstairs. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from the train station uphill.

The hotel is up on the hill. The view from our room is excellent. There are free coffee and tea provided during the day. There is also washing machine and dryer, but it’s a bit expensive.

The hotel was a little bit run down but again this is an old hotel that hasn't been renovated.

It could just be my imagination. Compared to other hotel staff, the receptionist I met was polite and informative, but in a phony "professional" way, made me feel uncomfortable.

Steps into hotel not suitable for disabled and elevator only starts on the first floor so 4 flights of stairs before the elevator. That said, you expect things like this in a character hotel.

Location in centre of town perfect. Carport over the road including 3 free hotel spaces is a bonus. The views from the hotel are amazing especially the breakfast room. This hotel has lots of character which we loved.

The bed was too soft for my liking.

Breakfast with fab views in a traditional large room. They only serve breakfast until 10h though and the variety of bread could be bigger. The kind staff is mainly from Russia.

Beautiful rooms in nice colours (no grey, yay!!) and very nice view from my room. It’s a historical place and the café is very beautiful as well.

Although I did not hear noise from the street, I could not sleep well because of noise from adjacent rooms. Also, the room was rather small and the bed was twin-size.

The location is very suitable for exploring the city and getting from and to the train station. Breakfast was rich and tasty. My room faced the mountain so offered no view but for me it was more important that I did not hear noise from a busy street the other side faces. A nice bonus was that the hotel has a pool and rents e-bikes.
