How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Cleanliness. We found the trash bin in the room full of garbage, we told the receptionist but she just apologised but they did nothing.

No aircondition, while outside was 38-39 C whole week. Chose another hotel during summer. Mattress is also very soft, I couldn't sleep well. For 1 night maybe, but not in summer.

The entrance to the hotel is from the interior parking courtyard on upper floor and quite inconspicuous. No logo on the building, so it makes you wonder: "do they really want me here"? The reception staff on our arrival was somewhat unhappy, it was better person when we were checking out. On arrival surprising for us was also a stern statement from the attendant: "we don't clean rooms everyday". This is rather unusual for a respectable and big hotel chain. The hotel makes you sign a paper the you will be fined 400 Euro for smoking in the room. This seems like an excessive precaution for non-smokers like us.
Spacious room, close to tram stop. Special enclosed place to keep your bikes locked. The highlight of the place was the enthusiastic guy at the bar who served us tea.

Quiet and comfortable room. Studio’s apartment a great with spacious room. Great terrace, perfect for people that travels with Dogs. Supermarket just below the parking hotel. Free parking.

It is difficult to locate the entrance for the first time. You should drive on your car on 2nd floor of the parking right besides the Rewe.
Very good price/comfort value. Spacious parking free of charge right in front of entrance.

There is not really anything close by, so you would need a car to go somewhere.

The entrance to the hotel could be maybe a bit more clearly marked outside the building.
Good location in the university area, close to the tram stop. Cosy and quiet rooms, with an original design. I enjoyed the floor heat in the bathroom. A small fridge and a kettle for tea would also be nice to have in the room.

We overlooked at booking that there is no air conditioning in the hotel. That was a surprise to see so modern hotel without air conditioning. You could open windows but they had no mosquito nets. The apartments are located a bit far from the elevator but the walk didn’t bother us that much.
We stayed in the hotel during a larger trip, where Augsburg was our intermediate stop. The apartment was specious with a terrace, which was very nice. The room was well furnished with a kitchen. It was very clean. Staff at reception, at the bar and at breakfast were very helpful and friendly. They accommodated all our requests.

Entrance is a bit confusing.
Clean. Modern. Comfortable. Easy parking. Easy to get to Augsburg city - tram stop basically outside. Decent breakfast. Good value for money.

For a transit stop on the way to Austria was perfect. Might be a bit too far out of town for some visitors.
Safe, modern, clean quiet hotel with good basic food options and Weissbier. Receptionist suggested parking for free 20m from €13 hotel parking. Thank you!
