How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The smile for the colidles wasn't so good. I think the carpets are so old that's why they smile bad, but all in all I liked the place
I liked the breakfast. It was so delicious I really recommend the chef. The location that has all kinds of shops and restaurants.

The feel of the reception is very much of a hostel rather than a hotel; the stairway and entrance have quite a rundown appearance and the staff member on the desk was gruff and unfriendly - no smiles or warmth. There are a lot of stairs - it is not possible to avoid them for any of the rooms, and we had a lot of luggage, so that was a pain. We didn't try the breakfast because it seemed very expensive and there was a good café over the road to get coffee and pastries.
We are a family of 5 adults and we just needed cheap accommodation for 2 nights. We had a 5-bedded room with an en suite and that was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, it was clean and the room had a high ceiling and big windows - it had clearly been quite a grand place once. The location is very central, with easy access to public transport.

Staff didn’t feel welcoming, not very helpful. Didn’t like the very narrow and steep stairs, overall getting from the street to the hotel felt like eternity.
Pretty spacious room, great air conditioning, neat and clean room. Near the hotel you can find various great and big shops, bars, restaurants.

The toilet wouldn't flush properly as it took a couple of times to flush it completely.
The location was excellent as it was only a 5 minute walk to the station, and there lots of restaurants all around and local.

The elevator is small and old, and several stairs have to be climbed, including a narrow winding staircase. Not suited for mobility-inpaired travellers -- and for everyone else it is recommended to travel with light luggage. Some reviews mentioned that a cash deposit was asked for the room. This was NOT the case for us, so no problem here. However, bring cash as deposit if you need a parking space.

The day was little hot. Feels like an aircon, or fan would be nice for that weather. The day I got was very warm, and hottest day in 2 years which made little discomfort.
Located at centre and good parking as well as transportation facilities. Nice stay and good people. Really enjoyed the location. Bus stops are nearby, even walking distance to main places.

The room was on the top floor, and the lift only starts from the second floor so we had to carry our luggage up at least 15 steps, which was really tough. Also, the staircase leading to the upper floor of the room was extremely narrow and spiral-shaped, making it very difficult to move around and get through the hotel.
Silence. But that’s just the general vibe in Germany , complete calm everywhere

My room did not have air conditioner. And what is more disappointing, there was a loud music in the room on the first floor in the opposite side of my room. I thought that people in Germany respect rules but they don't. And nobody cares. I had to go asking being quiet by myself. Nobody did it except me. Nobody called the police.

No elevator that goes up to 2nd flloor. The fan on the toilet made a lot of noise when you turn on the light. No aircon.( Tho they offered us an electric fan after 2 days of staying there, which we appreciated a lot) The room that we got was closed to a parking lot, where 1.)all the trash bins was placed. And everytime somebody is throwing or collecting the big trash bins, made a big noise, that awaken as. 2.) No air is coming into the room, even you open the windows to get some fresh air as the location of the room was in the corner and blocked by a huge tree on the side and the view was the windows of the other buildings.
