Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe feel of the reception is very much of a hostel rather than a hotel; the stairway and entrance have quite a rundown appearance and the staff member on the desk was gruff and unfriendly - no smiles or warmth. There are a lot of stairs - it is not possible to avoid them for any of the rooms, and we had a lot of luggage, so that was a pain. We didn't try the breakfast because it seemed very expensive and there was a good café over the road to get coffee and pastries.
We are a family of 5 adults and we just needed cheap accommodation for 2 nights. We had a 5-bedded room with an en suite and that was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, it was clean and the room had a high ceiling and big windows - it had clearly been quite a grand place once. The location is very central, with easy access to public transport.

GermanyThe elevator is small and old, and several stairs have to be climbed, including a narrow winding staircase. Not suited for mobility-inpaired travellers -- and for everyone else it is recommended to travel with light luggage. Some reviews mentioned that a cash deposit was asked for the room. This was NOT the case for us, so no problem here. However, bring cash as deposit if you need a parking space.

Also, the staircase leading to the upper floor of the room was extremely narrow and spiral-shaped, making it very difficult to move around and get through the hotel.

NorwayNo elevator that goes up to 2nd flloor. The fan on the toilet made a lot of noise when you turn on the light. No aircon.( Tho they offered us an electric fan after 2 days of staying there, which we appreciated a lot) The room that we got was closed to a parking lot, where 1.)all the trash bins was placed. And everytime somebody is throwing or collecting the big trash bins, made a big noise, that awaken as. 2.) No air is coming into the room, even you open the windows to get some fresh air as the location of the room was in the corner and blocked by a huge tree on the side and the view was the windows of the other buildings.
