We were disappointed to learn that while the hotel accepts pets, they are not allowed in the restaurant. When we asked about ordering room service (since we couldn’t dine in the restaurant), the staff informed us that it would come at an additional charge. So essentially, you pay a pet fee, cannot eat in the restaurant, and are then charged extra for room service. I believe offering it as a courtesy would be more reasonable.

It’s conveniently located near the highway, making it a great stopping point when traveling by car. The hotel is clean and comfortable for a short stay, and we’ve chosen it a couple of times specifically because it allows pets.

Room cleanliness excellent. As for the TV, you could offer more channels in other languages, not just German, especially considering that you also host international guests.

At breakfast, a terrible experience—the waiter asks for the room number of my husband’s table, even though we’re sitting together at the same table. Then he rudely turns to me and asks for my room number. And then, to my surprise, he asks if we’re sharing a room. Really inappropriate behavior and an unpleasant experience. The waiter was very young, but his superiors should have trained him on how to behave with guests. No one informed us that we were being charged separately for each cappuccino at breakfast. My husband and I didn’t drink any other coffee. And that cappuccino was really bad—from some kind of machine—yet you charged 4 euros for it. Completely unacceptable!

The hotel was placed very close to the highway, making it a perfect stop to get some much needed sleep after a day of driving. They had a restaurant open, so we could get some food before bed and the breakfast was very good aswell. I would plan to go here again for sure.

Hotel is still very good, if maybe a notch worse than in previous years. The breakfast is still generous. The scrambled eggs used be the best I have ever had at a buffet. Now they are standard. One person at the front desk was not great and actually caused me some problems, but the rest of the staff was great and tried to make it all better. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so you depend on taxis to get you into Bayreuth. But the cost and inconvenience of the taxis are offset by the very good prices, especially during the festival season.

Free internet for only 2 hours is a misunderstanding. It also interrupted, which made it difficult to use. This should not be a way to pay extra in today's world, when we all use the internet all the time. I travel a lot and this is the first time I've encountered this.

Comfortable quiet hotel while traveling. Easy exit from the highway, large parking and tasty breakfast. Very clean. Comfortable, large pillows - for me that's important.

There is NO functioning fridge in the room, despite the description claiming so. If you have to cut costs by disabling the fridges, at least let the guest enable them easily if required. The structures look a bit dated. The table in particular looks cheap and depressing...

Absolutely fine if you're looking to stay overnight while traveling along the highway. I came very late and left early, so I didn't get to see much, but everything in the room was proper. Staff is nice and there around the clock. Comfy bed and pillows. Free parking is great and there were enough available spots to choose from.

Peculiar location in an industrial area. The hotel is in its original 90s (?) outfit, so it's a bit run down but clean and comfortable. We couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work - maybe we should have paid for it? There was a strange humming noise outside until 10pm, which fortunately stopped after that and didn't disturb our sleep.

Convenient and affordable stopover for those traveling on A9. We stayed here on our way home from a skiing holiday. Friendly staff, good restaurant. The bed was comfortable, we slept well and woke up refreshed in the morning. Good breakfast and free parking.

A very big disappointment this time: the restaurant is supposed to be open until 9 p.m. (we called around noon to confirm this), we were really counting on dinner after a long journey. Unfortunately, it turned out that the restaurant closed much earlier that day because there were supposedly few guests. We found it very unprofessional, especially for a travel hotel. As compensation, we were offered not to pay for the drink. This seemed completely insufficient to us. I don't know if we will stay there again despite the hotel's advantages.

A good place to stop while traveling. Close to the highway, comfortable rooms with bathtub, good breakfast. We often stayed here.

Our room was a bit older - but still had everything we needed.

Hotel is located very close to highway (which was perfect for overnight stop during travelling), but it was quiet. Very good breakfast. There is hotel restaurant and shops in walking distance - so everything you need during your travel. We booked the room on our way and asked for a baby bed - everything was prepared once we arrived.

When I booked this room, I thought that there was a complimentary shuttle to and from the Festspielhaus, but it turns out that they charge for the shuttle service. We had a car, so this was not a big issue.

The WiFi was unreliable and they have a crazy system where you have to keep clicking every 6 hours to buy another free wifi ticket. Totally unnecessary and frustrating. They offer a paid WiFi package but that suggests they deliberately offer a poor one for free in the hope that guests will pay for a faster and more reliable service.
