Really good location between the train station and the city, we could get in earlier, when we arrived and could leave our luggage in the hotel on our departure day after checking out. We had a room to the back and not to the street. Really liked the balcony attached to the room and could read up there on the tourist sides of Husum and do the fine-tuning planing our stay in Husum and had a coffee. Very good breakfast!

Front desk staff were efficient and courteous, but breakfast staff were rather gruff. The tall one was rude and downright insulting. Lumpy bed pillows and the extra pillows in closet didn't even have pillow cases. My nephew in a separate top floor room couldn't take a shower due to water pressure/pump issue. Not a pleasant stay.

The staff can be nicer and not make you feel like they are doing you a favour. The spa water and snack station was empty (low snacks level or none at all) . Where was the coffee and water kettle so we can have a cup of tea or coffee in the evening in the room. This is pretty basic even in 2 star places. So the room was not impressive. Very uncomfortable chairs in the room. Not something you can sit and relax in.

The breakfast was really different with the assortment of fish, the spa and the location was good and great parking in the back although too few spots. The balcony was a nice touch but a bit narrow to get through to the second chair.

The rooms could benefit from some more modern furnishing and equipment, especially for a good night’s sleep. When it is light at 04.00 a good hotel should have curtains or blinds which can totally block it out. Also many foreign tourists find the soft and saggy German pillows hard to sleep on, and certainly in a “suite” you might expect one alternative type.

Excellent breakfast with plenty of smoked/marinated fish. Location is perfect, close to both the station and the harbour area.

Friendly service upon entry and the facility is top notch-- offering all the essential that the guest could be needing. The room is airy, light, and comfortable; the mini bar is even well stocked. The hotel is located in the zentrum with a nice view of the street.
